Review of Bound by Consequences:Bound #7 (Ravage MC, Book 16) by Ryan Michele @EJBookPromos @Ryan_Michele #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Micah was an outcast in his family. He never felt as if he fit in, until he grew up and realized how short live could be and how his family The Ravage MC actually had each other’s backs and would stand up for their family and protect them at all cost. He couldn’t see that when he was a kid and he caused a lot of trouble and turmoil with the club right up to the time he left, four years ago to join the Marines. Now he’s back and he has a lot to answer for. Now that he’s a man he is ready to prove his loyalty to the MC and take his punishment for all of the trouble he caused over the years. He just hopes it’s not too little too late.

Cyrus “Ensley” is a woman that just wants the freedom to live her life on her terms. If not for a chance meeting almost three years ago she would still be under the thumb of her father and family, luckily that meeting gave her the strength and determination to leave and make a life for herself. Her shock at seeing Micah again now has her terrified that her life will be turned upside down and her freedom will be taken away from her.

I loved this story. There is so much turmoil and angst, but the characters are great, and the story was an awesome read. I love the Ravage MC’s men and women. They are tough, loyal, dangerous and protective of their own, whether they are blood or not. There were a few times I wanted to scream at some of them to stop and listen to people and maybe be a little less sharp to get their pay back for what a “kid” said or did, but overall, the book was a great read and I look forward to the next book in the series. I also realized that I have some catching up to do as well on these guys. I give this book a 5-star review and am anxiously waiting for more!

MY REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Brass may have once been a scrawny nerd, but now he’s the enforcer for the RBMC, Pittsburgh, PA and he looks nothing like he did as a kid. He has a tragic past and a darkness to him that makes him who he is as a man in his thirty’s. He’s lethal, powerful, and loyal to his club. He does have one weakness though and unfortunately; he has no idea how to go about showing her that he’s interested.

Jewel just wants to get away from her man. She’s done being his target, but she doesn’t really want to leave the RBMC. They’ve been more of a family to her than she’s had in years. Her life is about to take a huge turn and with it she’ll be able to stay with the RBMC, but at what cost? Her life with Barney hasn’t been roses and his shadiness could haunt her forever.

I really liked this story. Brass is a man that is sexy, strong, messed up, and dangerous in more ways than being the enforcer. His past haunts him and he just wants to overcome that and be able to have the life he really wants with Jewel, but he’s afraid to take what he wants and let the RBMC help him. He feels responsible for so much, but the brothers need to make him understand that he is loved and respected and that they have his back in all things. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Pittsburgh, PA RBMC chapter.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review of Sentinel’s Kiss (Sons of Babylon, Book 2) by Jamie K. Schmidt @Jamiekswriter

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Josh “Sentinel” Lehman still wants retribution for his sister’s death two years ago. He’s a patient man and will get his vengeance, no matter how long it takes, he was a sniper, so he knows how to be patient. A chance sighting of the reporter that he spoke to after his sister’s death could be the lead he’s been looking for. Of course, the fact that she’s still a beautiful now as she was two years ago isn’t a problem either. Maybe Josh can get a taste of her again.

Ashely Carver has new information regarding the death of Sarah Stevens and she’s hoping to get closure for the woman’s death. She’s a tenacious woman that doesn’t give up on a story and she digs deep for her answers. She has her own trauma in her past that haunts her dreams.

This story is action packed as well as danger packed. It has more to it than either Sentinel or Ashley could have expected. A retired cop, an ex-army sniper, a previous warden and a previous spook all executive members of the Sons of Babylon MC. They have been friends and members of the S.O.B.’s since they were kids, even if they were a different kind of bike club back then. Now they’re adults and know even more about the evil that lurks in the shadows. They run their bar below their club house that serves the men in blue and keeps them in the know of what is going on in their town. They are dangerous, loyal and deep. I give this story a 5-star review and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. These characters drew me in from the first book and have held on tight. It’s a different take on an MC and I love it.

Review of Matteo (The Syndicates, Book 1) by Cala Riley

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Matteo wants what his friends have, one woman to come home to each night. He may finally find that, but his process of going about it is a little skewed.

Vanessa has been on her own for a long time now and can take care of herself, but a chance encounter puts her in the crosshairs of more than one questionable guy.

I enjoyed this story and I loved Matteo. He may be a mafia capo, but he has a heart and takes care of and protects those he cares about. I love his family, both by blood and heart. Vanessa will try his patience on many occasions, but these two are actually made for each other. I love the characters and the story. It’s suspenseful, entertaining and enough action to keep the pages turning. I give this story a 4-star review and look forward to more of The Syndicates books by Cala Riley.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Smash and Grab: A Callahan Security Novel, Book 2 by Lori Matthews @HiddenGemsBooks @_LoriMatthews_

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Take some time and go to the Bahamas, take a mini vacation, but also tail Lacy Carmichael to see if she’s involved in the corporate espionage, sure. It isn’t as easy as Logan Callahan’s brother, Gage made it out to be. He’s not into the whole tough guy thing like Gage and Mitch are. He’s a businessman. It would be better if he weren’t attracted to the beautiful lawyer, but he is, so it complicates the situation. Along with her secrets and her hidden identity, Logan Callahan and Lacy Carmichael are in for quite the weekend.

I really enjoyed this story. Its action packed, suspenseful, intriguing and off the charts steam between these two. The secrets that come out and the twists and turns of the story made the pages burn and tugged me in for the ride. The characters are interesting and fun to read and they have their own style which draws out the person deep inside when they work together. Lacy can see a different side of Logan when his need to protect her and keep her safe shines through. I loved the story and the characters and want to read more of the Callahan’s. I did not read the first book in the series, but it did not hinder my reading of this story at all. I do want to go back and read Break and Enter for a better understanding of the first meeting between Lacy and Logan though. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more books by Lori Matthews in this series.

MY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Daimon has found a family with the Untamed Sons, he’s been with them since he was a teenager, and he knows without a doubt that they have his back whenever he needs them. So, when he finds himself paying for a recent mistake, he isn’t worried that his brothers won’t find him or rescue him. He just has to hold on until they get there. His life is different now and he has more to lose than he did before.

Briella is spiraling out of control and the only person who sees it is her roommate and best friend Layla. She’s been raised by her big brother since he pulled her out of their home as a teen. She loves Levi and knows that he cares about her, but her mind is fighting demons and it seems no one can help her.

When Briella is seen somewhere she doesn’t belong Daimon’s eyes are opened to the fact that she’s in trouble and needs help. He’ll worm his way into her life to protect her and bring her out of the dark hole she’s dug herself into. I really enjoyed this story and the twist in this story that was different than the others in the series. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Untamed Sons MC series to come. Hopefully there will be some with the US club in the future as well. The men of the Untamed Sons may have darkness in them, but when they find their light a whole new side of them is seen. I loved Daimon.

Review of Puck’s Property: The Demon Squad MC by Monique Moreau @ElleWoodsPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Puck is confronted with his past while he’s in county lock up. He’s never forgotten Ava in the eight years since he broke up with her, but at the time he was young and couldn’t see any other way for his future to go. He needed to focus, and Ava was a distraction that he was worried would be more trouble than he needed at that time. Seeing her now he knows what he lost when he walked away from her all those years ago and he wants her back, he won’t take no for an answer.

Ava has put her life on the right path now. It took a breakup with the man she loved and a tragedy for her to see the light, but she turned that corner and found her path. Her job means a lot to her and it puts her in the path of danger, but she knows that she can make a difference. When Puck walks into her office she is stunned and puts wall up around her heart to protect herself from more heart ache.

While I enjoyed this story, it was a little slow for me to start and took me a bit to get into it. However, once I got into it, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. The Demon Squad MC may have changed their path of work, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t dish out punishment when needed. When they are attacked, albeit not directly, they will find out who did the destruction, and they will make sure that the message gets across that the Squad will not let them get away with it. They will pay for their attack. I give this story a 4-star review and recommend it to reader that like MC romance and second chance romance, with a lot of work.

Review for Bloody Union: Made Series, Book 1 by Brooke Summers @Author_BrookeS @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

I loved it!!

A mafia story with a huge twist that I did not expect but was so excited about. The Irish and the Italians are looking to form a front so Dante Bianchi, Capo Bastone, has been promised the hand of Makenna Gallagher, the youngest child and only daughter of Seamus Gallagher. Dante Bianchi is the son of Matteo Bianchi, Capo of the Famiglia. Seamus is the Ceannaire ar chách, or head of the Irish Mafia in New York. Makenna has endured a lot in her short life and when she comes of age, she will marry Dante.

I loved this book and the characters. Makenna is a strong woman that stands up for herself and has a large backing behind her. She doesn’t take any bull from anyone and she doesn’t let anyone get anything over on her. She’s smart, loyal, protective, strong and beautiful. The two families have a lot to go through for them to have the power and peace that they are looking for, but once things start to fall into place there is not stopping this large mafia family from getting what they want, and it isn’t a small thing they want. I love the characters, the storyline and the surprises in this book. I love mafia stories to begin with, but this story blew it out of the park for me. I give it 5-stars and if I could give it 10 I would. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!

Review of Llir: Tirana Brothers Trilogy (Social Rejects Syndicate) by K. L. Ramsey @KLRamsey5 #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Llir Tirana is the acting head of the Tirana family right now and he is being watched constantly. Everything he does is a test and will be reported back to his father. He can’t do anything that will make the family look bad or make himself or the family look weak.

Elira wants to fight, but she knows that if she keeps fighting there will be nothing left to fight for. She has been broken and weakened and they want her that way. No one is looking for her and there is no one in her life that even knows she’s missing.

The Tirana family is part of the Albanian Syndicate. They’re powerful, respected, and lethal. Llir is the eldest son and next in line to take over as head of the family, but their father has a hard time letting go of the reins and expects complete loyalty from his crew as well as his sons. I enjoyed this story of a mafia family that has a bit of a twist to it. Llir and Elira are strong characters and their paths in life started out differently, but their future could be the part of their lives if they can find a way to be free to live it the way they want to. I give this story a 4-star review and suggest it to reader that mafia families, strong women that may be broken but can be made stronger in the process and men that are possessive and looking to live their lives by their own rules and desires.

Review of Serafin: Kings of Krakow, Book #1 (Social Rejects Syndicate) by Deja Voss @dejavoss @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Serafin and Mia were high school sweethearts, until one fateful day when everything in their worlds came crashing down and Mia left Krakow and continue on with her life and Serafin was left to heal and deal with the tragedy on his own. Neither one of them are the same people they were twelve years ago, and when Serafin faces Mia again for the first time in years, neither one of them are ready for the turmoil that being back in each other’s lives will bring.

This is a story of two lovers that are forced to stay away from each other for years, both having to continue on with their lives as best they can but neither one of them forgetting the other. The secrets, betrayal, pain and truths could either destroy their lives or make them stronger together. Once things start to unravel, they will need to find the strength to hold on tight and make their lives out to be what they want. I enjoyed this story and give it a 4-star review. If you’re a reader that enjoys mafia, twisted families and the danger that comes along with that, you will enjoy Serafin.
