Another great story in the Project Arma series. These books have great characters, great story lines, and a lot of suspense and action. The pages turn quickly in this book.
Oliver “Ax” Bolton is a member of Marble Protection. He and his “brothers” started this business, and they give back to their community by holding self-defense classes for women as well as being a business that helps their community. They are men that have special abilities and are determined to stop those that take from others without consent, in any way.
Tori is a woman that is clueless as to who she is. She woke up in the hospital and was told that she was found in the Colorado River by hikers. Now she’s on a mission to find out who she is and the only lead she has is a note in her pocket guiding her to someone with the first name that starts with an O and Marble Protection. What she’s searching for could destroy her or get her killed.
I love these books and Oliver was just as good as the other 6 books in the series. Nyssa Katheryn has a way with writing these books that may seem to lead along the same paths, but each one has their own unique part in the story. Oliver and Tori had one night and now he is the only person that she feels safe with and that she may find her past and get the answers she seeks. The only problem is that they could also put each other in danger, and both be killed. The action of this story was non-stop, and the story was fast paced. I loved it and I am looking forward to Kye’s story. I give this book a 5-star review.
These two have not been able to catch a break. Patrick and Kyla are fighting for their lives and when they are both taken by siblings, separately, they have to find the strength to survive and find their way back to each other. It seems like it is one bad situation after another for these two. Will they ever find their way to happiness and out of the line of fire?
I am loving Patrick and Kyla’s story. The books are action packed, steamy, and dangerous. I love that I have to keep reading to make sure that they are still breathing and able to stay ahead of the danger. When the danger keeps coming, they have to rely on family to help them out. It could be more dangerous with their help, but they could also deny the help.
I am anxious for the final book in this series to answer some of my questions and feelings about what is going on. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to more books by Kristen Luciani. Her writing is suspenseful, steamy, and exciting to read.
How do I even start with this book? I am a huge fan of both Jane Henry and Sophie Lark. Their books always leave me wanting more and The Bratva’s Heir did the same. I want more of Constantine and Clare, and more about the characters in this book. Yury was a character that I would love to know more about. I loved that both authors brought some of their previous books into this story.
Constantine is a man on a mission to find those that betrayed him and railroaded him. He will go to any length to find the truth and he is not a man to mess with. When he sets his plan into motion there are a lot of people that have his back, but he doesn’t trust easily, and this situation is proof as to why he shouldn’t. He’s not a man with a heart, but when he spends time with Clare a new side of him begins to emerge.
Clare is a pawn that will find her courage and strength from the situation she finds herself in. She’ll fight it at first, but when things begin to come to light, she will find her way to stand up for herself and the man that she’s fallen for.
I love the story, the characters, the action-packed pages, the suspense, and the twists and turns that this book has in it, the attraction and steam between these two are off the charts. I really hope Jane and Sophie team up and write more mafia books, they are two of my favorite mafia writers. I give this book a 5-star review and highly recommend it.

Santino Buratti, the man who takes what he wants without asking—ruthless as he is beautiful, powerful, and stubborn as all hell.
He doesn’t care about the war brewing between the Irish and the Italians.
He doesn’t care that we’re enemies.
He doesn’t care that I belong to someone else.
All he cares about is his latest prey—me.
A Note from Hicks: Big Bad Wolf is book one in the Wolf Duet and is part of the Crime Society World. It contains explicit scenes, kidnapping, and dubious situations some readers might find offensive and/or triggering.
This duet is the darkest mafia romance I’ve done. You’re going to love Santino and his twisted ways.

About the Author:
Diana A. Hicks is an award-winning author of steamy contemporary romance and science fiction. Her latest release LOVE OVER LATTES, Book 1 in her Desert Monsoon Series, recently hit the Amazon #1 Best Seller list in a category!
When Diana is not writing, she enjoys kickboxing, traveling, and indulging in the simple joys of life like wine and chocolate. She lives in Atlanta, and loves spending time with her two children and husband.
She was the only daughter of a Mafia family and boss. She always knew that her virginity would be sold to the highest bidder, and she had prepared herself for that eventuality. However, she was not prepared for the man that she was promised to, nor the man that she ran into by accident. Lucinda O’Brien was a mafia princess that had to fulfill her duty to her family. When it looks like her family could be taken down and not able to rebuild, she is given to a man in New York to marry. His virgin bride.
Liam Walsh is a ruthless, deceptive, leader of the New York Irish Mafia. He gained his position by deception and brutality. He has offered to help the Chicago Red Wolves, but he wants his payment in the guise of a virgin bride. His tastes in relationships are not your normal, husband and wife scenario. When he gets what he wants and has Luce O’Brien in his clutches her life is turned upside down. He doesn’t want a partner; he wants a pet. Luce may have been amenable to her situation, but when she finds herself in the clutches of Liam Walsh her mind has changed.
Santino Buratti is the son and heir to the Buratti family and seat at the table for The Crime Society, once his father decides to step down. His father would like for Santino to take a wife and he will hand over the reins to his kingdom, but Santino has refused to marry. When he runs into the beautiful redhead by chance his sites are set and he will do what he can to get the woman in his bed, but when he finds out that she’s taken and she becomes a threat to him, he takes the matter into his own hands.
I loved this story of Santino and Luce. Santino is a ruthless, deadly mafia man that takes what he wants, and he wants Lucinda. Lucinda is an innocent woman that finds herself in ruthless arrangement that she believes will help her family overcome the war in South Chicago, but what she isn’t prepared for are the lies, deceit, and brutality that her life has fallen into. I love the characters and the storyline in this book. It’s fast paced, action packed, tragic and steamy. I look forward to the next book in the duet. I give this story a 4-star review.
He’s the head of the Greed family but has split the job with his son recently. He’s had his one love, and no one can replace the woman that he fell in love with, married, and then lost in a tragic “accident”. Rock Greed is a man that had it all and then lost but he’s still on top with his family and business. He’s gone into an agreement with the Lust, Pride, and Envy families to hopefully take over the Deadly Sins Syndicate and have the power over the Gluttony, Sloth, and Wrath families. He’s not looking for a new wife or a romantic partner, he’s happy the way his life is at this time, but when a woman comes knocking and things get heated, his life will be changed again.
She wants to be the head of her family, but her father lives in the past and goes by the old rules. Since she is a daughter and not a son, she will not rule. So, Darcy Wrath hatches a plan to marry a man that can help her take over the Wrath family. However, her plan could backfire, and things will be more dangerous than they were before. Her father wants her to marry a man so that the man can take over the family rather than Darcy’s younger brother that has no interest in being the head of the Wrath family. Only the man that her father has in mind is not the same man that Darcy has in mind.
I enjoyed this story. Darcy and Rock find themselves thrown together and have to find a way to survive and stay off the radar, and that brings them closer together. When they are found and danger and trouble are near, they will find that their wants and desires have changed and that their lives can move forward with real love. When family turns it’s back on one, the other family finds them and is ready to defend them and bring them back into the world of the living. This story is steamy, action packed, and has great characters. I look forward to more of the Deadly Sins Syndicate books to come. I give this story a 4-star review.
One woman, and two best friends that have a connection that is hard to deny. When Grace finds a note from her husband Archer, her whole life seems to be in upheaval, because now she’s on her own and has no idea what happened.
Archer has felt as if something has been missing from his marriage to Grace for a while now and he knows that it’s his best friend, Jon. Jon and Grace dated in college briefly before Archer and Grace got together, because Jon made her decide on which man she wanted. Now after a few years of marriage, Archer wants to try to bring Jon back into the relationship, but Jon is hesitant.
Jon was raised by catholic parents and is a political advisor. If his relationship with Archer and Grace were to become public knowledge he could lose so much and he’s not sure he’s ready for that. After a they’ve been together for a month or so, Jon decides to walk away, again. However, this time he’s walking away from so much more.
I enjoyed this story, it’s steamy and the characters are well developed, but it seemed to be missing some of K. L. Ramsey’s magic for me. I love her other books and she is a great writer. This book was good, but not as good as her others. This book was a quick read. I give this book a 3.5-star review. I will probably read the other books in this series.
She was an innocent that was used to get to a notorious group, but she had no clue what was going on or how she found herself wrapped up in the danger that was in. Now her life could be forfeit. Natasha Zolotova is young, naïve, and attracted to a man that her mother told her to stay away from, but she can’t help herself. Now she’s in danger because she was trying to make him jealous.
Dima is a member of the Chicago Bratva, and he is the Hacker for the group. These skills come in handy when he wants to spy on the beautiful young Natasha when she is coming and going from the Kremlin, the building they live in. He’s had his share of heartache and is not looking for love or a romantic connection, but his attraction to the beautiful woman is hard to deny. When he gives in to her pleas of being invited to a poker game, all of his desire and want for her is put on the back burner because now he’s looking at her in totally different light.
I loved this story. While it is tragic, it is also a great story of how people are perceived based on their actions and interactions. Dima and Natasha have a strong pull towards each other, but Dima’s ghosts and Natasha’s mistake could hurt them. When things get heated and the truth comes out, they will have to work on finding a level ground to see if they can be together. I love the characters and the storyline of this book. I have enjoyed the other books in this series and The Hacker did not disappoint. I can’t wait to read The Bookie. I give this book a 4-star review.
Suspense, danger, death, deception, and twists and turns. This story starts with a normal day that turns into a nightmare. Not only for those involved but also for the small community it happens in. This was my first book in the Double Blind Murder Mystery Series, but I will be going back to read the other two as soon as I have time. I love a great murder mystery and suspense thriller story. Dan Alatorre always delivers on a great read. His characters are well developed and likable in his stories, except for the bad guys, of course. The suspense and mystery he writes in his stories draw me in from the first page. The first line generally informs that there is so much to reveal in the story that I can’t wait to get engrossed in the book. Third Degree did not disappoint me either. It drew me in from the first line and I was ready to find out what would happen and who would be the villain in the story. Of course, there is more to the story than just finding the villain, there is so much going on behind the scenes that made the story so much better to read. I give this book a 5-star review and will hopefully get to read the other two stories prior in the series soon, Double Blind and Primary Target.
Preacher and Blue are great characters, and it was great to read their story! They both live their lives on their terms.
Preacher is a man that has lived in his ways for years. He has his opinions on things going on in the world and may get picked on by his closest friends about it, but it doesn’t bother him. He looks at the world in a jaded view and has reasons for that. His life was rerouted when he was a teen and it jaded him. He never thought he’d find a partner after what he experienced at a young age, but when he meets Blue and gets to know her, he starts to see his future in a different light.
Blue has had her share of issues in her adult life, she’s been married and divorced and has a son. Her life growing up directed her thoughts on marriage and relationships, but Preacher wants to change that. Blue is determined to stay single and have some fun with Preacher, but when she finally realizes that what she feels for Preacher is more than lust, her life takes a new path. She just has to be sure that the danger surrounding her in the situation she’s in with the Time Served and Ares Infidels MC’s can be taken care of.
I love Preacher, he’s been a favorite character since the beginning of the series, and I was so happy to read his story. He’s set in his ways and he’s a conspiracy theorist, but that only makes him that much more interesting and lovable. I love the men and women in this series. I love the coven and the way that they take care of their men as much as the men take care of them. These books are action packed, sexy, funny, and a bit dark when the clubs take care of those that threaten their families, friends, and town. I love the way all of them come together to protect what is theirs and banter between the men and the women is always so entertaining. I love this series as well as the Ares Infidels I always look forward to the next book in both series. I think Cee Bowerman and Ciara St. James are doing a great job intertwining these two series and bringing great stories together. I give this book a 5-star review and I am looking forward to the next book.
I’ve always felt like an outsider in the Untamed Sons. I’m Nox’s sister and the widow of a brother, but I’m not one of them. When I’m abducted by our enemies, I don’t expect to be rescued by a tall, dark, handsome, and extremely dangerous stranger. Zeke Fraser is the devil in a suit, and he’s refusing to give me back to my family. Worse still, I’m falling for my captor. There’s something captivating about the man, and while I know he’s going to be my downfall, I can’t stop from gravitating towards him.
ZEKE
I was sent to rescue Bailey, but instead, I found myself unable to part with her. Keeping her captive in my penthouse isn’t the best plan, but I’m unwilling to hand her over to the Sons until I know they’re going to uphold their end of the bargain. I’m not supposed to fall for the woman I’ve stolen, but there’s something about Bailey’s fire that keeps me wanting more.
But to have her, I have to survive her family, and the club is out for blood. Mine.

MY REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5
Bailey is the sister of Nox, an MC brother and the widow of an MC brother, she doesn’t feel as though she has her own life anymore, nor does she feel as though she can leave the Untamed Sons because they’ve given her a job, family, protection, and security. Until one night while she is out with her co-workers and ends up in danger.
Zeke Fraser is a son of Anthony Fraser, a man that runs his own part of London. The Frasers are well known, and most are afraid of them and what they will do if you cross them. When the Fraser’s find a rat amongst their men, they deal with him on their own. The Fraser’s are not someone you want to owe any debts to. The Untamed Sons have had their own trouble with the Frasers in the past, but now they are calling on them for help.
When Bailey needs to be rescued, the Untamed Sons call on the powerful Fraser family for help with the understanding that they will owe them. It’s a tenuous business deal at best, but they have no other way to get Bailey back once they find out what’s happened and who has her. Things get even more complicated when Zeke does rescue Bailey from the clutches of a man bent on revenge with the Untamed Sons, and he goes against the plan that was laid out. Now he’s in trouble with his father as well as the Untamed Sons, but he won’t back down. I really liked this story of two dangerous families working together for one goal only to find that the outcome is not expected. The story was full of danger, action, and great characters from the beginning, and it kept the pages turning through the book until the end. I love the characters in this series and the stories that their lives bring. I like Jessica Ames’ style of writing and her stories are always a read that I hate to see end. I give this story a 4-star review and I am looking forward to more of Jessica Ames’ stories in the future.
I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
