Natasha Knight is the USA Today Bestselling author of Romantic Suspense and Dark Romance Novels. She has sold over half a million books and is translated into six languages. She currently lives in The Netherlands with her husband and two daughters and when she’s not writing, she’s walking in the woods listening to a book, sitting in a corner reading or off exploring the world as often as she can get away.
A sovereign son that vows to never marry and a sovereign daughter that has been ruined and is in danger from multiple directions. Will Judge and Mercedes ever overcome their pasts and find a path through their future and find happiness?
IVI has many layers to their rules and life, but when Mercedes’ secret comes to light, Judge steps up to protect her. It puts him in position of her brother finding out their secret. Mercedes has come a long way since she has been under Judge’s care, but she still has her rebellious and stubborn side. When she acts on these, she finds herself in more trouble than she needs to be in.
I am loving this series and I love Judge and Mercedes. They are great characters that need to overcome so much from their pasts if they want to have a happy life, but Judge is so determined to stay in the past that he may lose Mercedes forever. Judge is a powerful man, but even powerful men have their Achilles heals and can be blinded by their lives and their pasts. A death helps Mercedes realize that she is no different than her sister in-law and that she needs to find a way to overcome their past and move on if she wants to have a part in Santiago’s life and his families. I give this book a 5-star review and I need Their Reign ASAP!
Mallory Grant and Nixon Scott met purely by chance. With an instant attraction between them, the pair was easily tempted to give in to their desires.
Despite the fact that Mallory wants more with Nixon, she’s willing to settle for what he is prepared to offer: a physical relationship with no strings.
But when Mallory gets robbed at gunpoint, Nixon starts paying more attention.
She assumed the robber was a man looking for some quick cash. Nixon wondered if that was all there was to it. After all, the thief’s words to her left him feeling unsettled.
And when Mallory gets kidnapped, Nixon realizes his instincts were right all along. Only now he’s worried that he might lose the woman who means more to him than he’s ever shared.
A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over twenty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.
Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!
When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.
Nixon has seen firsthand what happens to loved ones when a soldier doesn’t make it back home and he has vowed to never put any woman in that position with him. He is a man that does do relationships. When he rescues his brother’s girl after being kidnapped and offers to go with her best friend to pick up her car and her clothes and belongings from the hotel, he finds that he is attracted to Mallory, but he is determined to stay away because if something went bad between them, it would not be good for his brother and Magnolia. The problem is that Nixon can’t forget Mallory even a week after their meeting.
Now that Magnolia has been rescued and she is good, Mallory takes notice of Nixon, and she finds her confidence after they go to lunch and pick up Magnolia’s car and clothes. However, she finds that Nixon is not on the same page as her. She’s willing to go against her usual dating and relationship persona to have a friend with benefits with Nixon, but he refuses and leaves Mallory feeling like she misread the situation. However, she can’t seem to get Nixon out of her head.
I really liked this story and the characters. I liked that A.K. Evans wrote this story to coincide with Magnolia and Killian’s story. This story made more sense with that backstory and the intermingling of the characters from both series. The story had some unpredictable scenes and some wow scenes. I loved Mal and Nixon together. I loved Rockstars & Romance Series and going into the Harper Security Ops Series was seamless. I love the characters and the story lines in this series, and I am looking forward to more of these Harper Security men and the women that show them what life is like with the right partner standing beside them. I give this story a 5-star review.
But there is something about this feisty tattoo artist. She makes my blood boil. But with that pure, unadulterated rage comes an ache deep inside I simply can’t ignore.
I despise her.
I shouldn’t want her.
The problem is—every part of me does.
And it’s a complication I can no longer ignore.
With threats against the club from our persistent rivals, it’s becoming clear we can’t be sure who to trust.
As the saying goes… keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
But without knowing, I’ve invited mine right in, and I’m falling for her hard.
And when we hit the ground, I know it’s gonna hurt!

Wow, I don’t even know where to start with this. I loved the book and the characters. Hurricane is a man that doesn’t trust easily, but when he trusts someone, he trusts completely. Losing Razor was hard in Hurricane, and he was a drift for a while, but when he finally found his new VP, he began to find his footing again, until he met Kaia.
This story was explosive, full of action, great characters, and a newfound book boyfriend. I loved Hurricane. He’s not an easy man to love, but when he started to show his true self, it was great. His gentleness with Lani, his love for Ingrid and Novah, and his love for Bayou and his club brothers shows he’s a man that loves deeply and hard. His past experience with women may have given him pause about Kaia, but when they opened up to each other it was great.
I loved the story, the characters, and the I fell in love with the NOLA Defiance. I can’t wait to read City’s book and more in the series. I love KE Osborn’s books and the Defiance MC has always been a favorite of mine. I am looking forward to more of these guys. I give this book a 5-star review.
After tragedy comes pain and destruction. Then when the light shines bright, and Riddick finds a way to get out of the darkness, his past comes back to haunt him again and he has more of a fighting chance this time. He just has to heed the warnings of Madame Laveaux and follow the right path.
This was a brutal, raw story of pain, tragedy, deception and finding a way out of the despair that can drag you down when you lose someone you love. It was a great read and as always, the characters from the New Orleans National Chapter are great to read. I loved it and I loved Riddick and Abigail’s story. New Orleans is a place of mystery and secrets. When secrets begin to come to light, danger follows and Riddick has to make a decision of which path to choose, when he chooses the wrong path, he has to rely on his brothers to act quickly and save the love of his life, but will they be too late? I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to reading Belle Macabre.
Once again Jane Henry has written a book that was so good it was not easy to put down or walk away from it. I love the characters, the plot, and the series.
Mario Rossi is the youngest brother of the Rossi family, and he is a playboy through and through. He likes speed, and he loves all women. He’s sexy, sweet, brutal, and unpredictable.
Detective Emma King is a woman on a mission. She has her mission and doesn’t want to deviate from it, but when she gives in to her desires and spends one night with the sexy man that drove right up to her and pretended that they were expecting to meet, she couldn’t deny herself the treat. The only problem is that she is a curious woman and couldn’t just walk away empty handed, and when he woke up and found her gone along with his possessions, it was game on.
I loved this story, and the Emma is such a tough woman. She’s a great match for the playboy of the Rossi family. Jane Henry has a way of writing her books where they suck you in from the first page and hold you so tight that you can’t let go, even after you’ve read the final page. I am always left wanting more of her stories. The characters are great, the stories are full of action, danger, and unpredictable happenings. I loved the book and give it a 5-star review.
He stole my legacy, and now he holds the key to my future.
Fallen King, an all-new alluring age-gap, workplace standalone romance from bestselling author Bella Matthews, is live now!
Long live the King
Growing up as the oldest Kingston sibling, I knew what was expected of me. King Corp. was my legacy, and my siblings were my responsibility. The world was ours for the taking. For the living. But I neglected to live it for myself . . . until her.
Daphne Brenner wasn’t meant to be part of the deal. I never intended to acquire a new assistant with my new hockey team, but here she is. Constantly challenging me. Continually Intriguing me. Never backing down.
Even if I’m the villain in her fairytale.
He stole my legacy, and now he holds the key to my future.
When he sold our family’s hockey team to Max Kingston, my father destroyed my dreams without a second thought. And that was only his first betrayal.
Now I have to play nice with my new boss in order to carve out my new future. But when long days and late nights lead to so much more, I realize I’m falling for the intensely arrogant, beautiful man who quietly puts everyone else’s needs before his own. Playing nice with the enemy isn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be.
About Bella Bella Matthews is a Jersey girl at heart. She is married to her very own Alpha Male and raising three little ones. You can typically find her running from one sporting event to another. When she is home, she is usually hiding in her home office with the only other female in her house, her rescue dog Tinker Bell by her side. She likes to write swoon-worthy heroes and sassy, smart heroines with a healthy dose of laughter thrown in.
Two families that own professional sports teams, their stadiums are right across the street from each other. One is a football team, and the other is a hockey team. Both families have owned these teams for generations, now one family has to sell their team to survive.
The Kingston family has owned the football team for generations, and they have done a great job with the team as well as the money aspect of the team. They are winning and staying on top. Now that Max is running the empire, he wants to make some changes and get out of his father’s shadow of running the team and the empire. When he is approached about buying the hockey team, he sees his chance.
Daphne Brenner grew up in the hockey rink. Her grandfather was the owner of the team when she was a little girl and her mother had hoped to take over when the time was right, but tragedy struck and left Daphne to be raised by her father. It was a bad childhood, but it was a loving one either. Daphne didn’t aspire to take over the team that her father is running now, but she did aspire to take over the fund raising and the charity for the Rockets and when her father drops a bomb on her, her future looks bleak at best. She wonders if she ever really knew her father at all.
I really loved this story of Max and Daphne. They are both great characters that have such big hearts, but they don’t stop to think of themselves very often. They have an intense chemistry that shocks them both. I loved Daphne’s confidence and sassiness. I love the part where she puts Becket in his place. She knocks him down a few notches and makes him grovel for forgiveness. It was a great story and is full of great characters. I am looking forward to more from Bella Matthews and the Kingston family. I give this book a 4-star review.
My ex bought me at an auction and forced me to marry him.
He said it was for my protection.
All I can think is he had it all planned.
Because what Gianni Marino wants, he gets—everything, except for me.
I won’t forget how his broken promises left me scarred.
So this time, I’m determined not to give in to the temptation, no matter what he vows.
I only wish my skin wouldn’t sizzle under his touch, or my heart wouldn’t pound out of my chest from his irresistible grin.
Most of all, I long to believe in him…in us, again.
Each time our enemy tries to hurt me, Gianni saves me, making his promises more believable.
If only I could trust him.
(IMMORAL is book two in Mafia Wars New York. It’s an enemies to lovers, second chance, forced marriage Dark Mafia romance, interconnecting stand-alone, and guaranteed to have an HEA.)
Maggie Cole is committed to bringing her readers alphalicious book boyfriends. She’s been called the “literary master of steamy romance.” Her books are full of raw emotion, suspense, and will always keep you wanting more. She is a masterful storyteller of contemporary romance and loves writing about broken people who rise above the ashes.
Maggie lives in Florida with her son. She loves sunshine, anything to do with water, and everything naughty.
Her current series were written in the order below:
All In (Stand alones with entwined characters)
It’s Complicated (Stand alones with entwined characters)
Together We Stand (Brooks Family Saga – read in order)
Behind Closed Doors (Read in order)
Mafia Wars (Stand alones with interconnecting plot and entwined characters)
Gianni Marino pulled some stupid stunts as a kid and young man; he and his twin would switch off with girls and he never thought anything of it. It was expected after the first time. The only girls they never switched with was Bridget, Dante’s girl and Cara, Gianni’s girl. However, when Gianni began to get too close to Cara he would always pull back. For some reason the HEA seemed to scare him.
Cara has given Gianni too many passes and now that they are grown and in their 40’s, she’s no longer opened to giving him chances. So, when she starts seeing Umberto and Gianni warns her away from him, she digs her heals in deeper. She carries on the relationship for months, but when Umberto begins to feel threatened, he turns on her and she finds herself on an auction block being bought by a man that bids the highest. Little does she know that her whole life is going to be changed forever.
I really like the Mafia Wars books, but the back and forth between Gianni and Cara got to be a bit too much in this book. I understand her reluctance to trust and accept Gianni’s word that he has changed and is committing himself to only her, but she pushed a lot about their past, while Gianni kept asking her to please put the past behind them and trust that he was a different man, she kept seeing him as the arrogant, stupid young man that she knew and not the grown, dangerous, and committed man in front of her. I liked their story and once it got past the part where she kept questioning his every move, it was good. Gianni is a dangerous, dark, and deadly man that protects those he loves fiercely, and Cara is at the top of his list for protecting. It was a good story and I look forward to Crazed. I give this book a 4-star review.
5 Star TDC Book Reviews – “This was a highly entertaining and addicting story that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.”
5 Star caffe.and.books – “Intense, wicked and suspenseful goodness, I couldn’t read it fast enough yet I didn’t want it to end.”
5 Star Goodreads Review – “I LOVE Mafia Romance and this author has a way of spinning a story that makes you feel as if you’re a part of the story as you read it.”
I’ve never met him. Never even seen him.
But I’ve heard the whispers. The rumors. The stories about him being as cruel as his father. Maybe even worse.
They say his presence wraps around your throat whenever he enters a room. And that’s exactly what I feel the moment he walks into the diner where I work, and I hear people breathe out his name.
Alexius Del Rossa.
They call him the crown prince of the Dark Sovereign—a society of men who own everything but the weather in this town.
Men say he has ice in his veins, and women talk about the corrupted heart in his chest. He’s the kind of man you pray never to cross paths with. The kind of man a girl like me has no chance of surviving.
But while his eyes trap mine, and his magnetism touches my skin, I’m unable to move when he forces me into a corner and hands me an envelope.
It’s an offer.
One I can’t refuse.
See, I have nothing. No family. No friends. No home.
I can disappear and no one will know.
And that is exactly why he chose me.

Alexius is the first born of the Del Rossa family and slated to take over for his father soon. He’s dark, deadly, ruthless, and unforgiving. His father wants him to marry to make his position as the head of the family and the Dark Sovereign stronger, but Alexius doesn’t feel he needs any more strength than his name and reputation. So, he decides to find a wife that is disposable, however what he finds is so much more.
Leandra is a woman that is barely living. Her home life as a child was dismal and her adult life is a struggle. Now that she’s free of her mother’s torment, she wants to find a way out of her current life, but with no options she’s stuck. Until a ruthless man walks into the diner she works and hands her a black envelope with a proposition. Leandra is not a trusting woman and when she reads the letter inside the envelope she declines his offer, but Alexius won’t take no for an answer.
This story is brutal, dark, and tragic. It’s also a story of a woman that may be able to find her way out of the darkness that she’s lived her whole life, but she will have to find a way to trust the man that has given her the opportunity. Leandra and Alexius are an explosive couple but when they begin to find their footing with each other their relationship could be explosive in other ways. Leandra may be a “stray”, but she doesn’t take any of Alexius’ harshness. She may be intimidated by him, but she won’t cower to him. I really liked this story, and the characters were great. I look forward to more of the Dark Sovereign books to come and Nicoli’s story. These brothers are close and have each other’s backs, but there is a threat, and no one knows where it’s coming from. It could put the whole family in danger. I give this book a 5-star review.
He’s wanted one woman for many years, but only to get back what was taken from him and get revenge. When he runs into a beautiful woman at the airport, he believes it to be the woman he’s been obsessed with, but she has no idea who he is. Remi is determined to get his revenge and the woman he’s been obsessed with for year, but is his plan going to work?
She had no idea she had family living in the states, let alone a sister. When she is finally able to fly to the states to meet her sister, a lot of unexpected issues come up and the meeting is delayed. When she finally does meet her, all of her ideas of a happy family reunion are thrown out the window and stomped on. Penelope has always thought that she was not wanted or cared about with the exception of her uncle that took her in when she was just a child. Now there’s a man that has claimed that she will be his wife, but she’s not the woman he wants. Can they find a Happily Ever After with each other and find love?
I love the Four Dark Horsemen and V.F. Mason’s writing style. She writes, dark, dangerous, broken characters that are possessive and love obsessively when it comes to their families, but they have flaws. They are dark, deadly, possessive, and dangerous, but they turn to mush when it comes to their kids and their women. I loved the bonus chapter for Remi! I loved this book and look forward to more. The characters are great and interesting to read, and the stories leave me drained with all of the pain and darkness, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to more books by V. F. Mason.
One night was all it should have been. A night of torment for her. Payback for how she treated us in high school.
What I didn’t count on was she would like it. As if I switch is flicked inside her, she begins to thrive on fear.
So I dare her to get to know me, and to my surprise, she accepts. However, secrets threaten to destroy everything. Once she discovers what I’m hiding, she will leave me for good.
I won’t let that happen, but can I stop her?
The Strays – Sleeping With Sirens
Bully – Shinedown
Addicted – Saving Abel
When she’s close to the bathroom, I glance around to see if anyone is watching before grabbing her around the waist and pulling her into the first VIP room I can find. She screams, but the loud thumping of the bass covers any noise she makes.
I pull her further into the pitch-black room and force her body against the wall. I can smell her perfume. So fucking intoxicating.
“Please let me go,” she begs as I keep her pinned in place. I like the fear in her voice. I like that’s she scared right now.
I don’t say anything as I push her chest harder against the wall. Her head is turned to the side, and I can feel her tears as I bring my face down. I smile, knowing I made her cry. I want to make Ray cry. I want her to feel what we felt all those years.
“I love it when you cry,” I whisper. I’m certain she wouldn’t remember my voice, and if she did, I’m sure Ray has forgotten by now.
“What do you want?” she asks, her voice hitching when she does.
“To see you cry,” I tell her.
“Please, let me go,” she begs. I move closer, pressing my body against hers harder now. There’s no letting her go now.

High school can be such a tough time, but what’s worse is when the kids that were so high and mighty, bullies, tough guys, or plain old b!tches never grow up and feel as though they are still the top of the food chain after high school.
The Strays are the outcasts, weird kids, the kids that no one wants to take the time to understand or get to know. We’ve all had them at our schools. When the Strays finally strike back the group of four that made their high school years miserable, one of them in particular will find out who her real friends are.
Ray is an entitled girl that lives behind a mask. She pretends to be alright when inside her life and her mind are fracturing. Not knowing who her high school friends truly are or were, she believes that she is untouchable and indestructible, but one night at a Halloween party she finds something that can help her and change how her future is headed. All because the kids she bullied and made outcasts wants revenge on her and her crew.
Zaryn and his crew are no longer the kids that will take being bullied or downcast, they’re looking to get back at the four that were always mean in high school. Their first target is Ray. Zaryn is ready to show her how it feels to be bullied and scared. His only flaw? She liked the fear and now his plan is backfiring, but will the benefits be a win? Zaryn isn’t looking for a relationship with Ray, but when one night shows him her reaction to him and his plan, he dares her to get to know him and things change. Now he has to make sure that the secrets he’s keeping from her won’t destroy what they’ve started.
I liked this book. The characters are interesting, and relatable. The story was relatable, angsty and a bit dark. I’m sure that we’ve all had some experience with the high school “cool” kids showing the others how high school was going to be for them. Not everyone had a bully, but I’m sure to an extend that most did, so this book is relatable in that sense. It was a quick read, but I wouldn’t say it was an easy read. There are some tragic and dark scenes that made me cringe and tear up, but I still enjoyed it. I felt bad for Ray and the Strays, but in the end the main bullies got their comeuppance. I give this book a 5-star review. I find that Erin Trejo can write pretty much any trope and I will enjoy reading it. She’s a master wordsmith.
I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
