She is the daughter of an MC president that believes that her life is okay. However, after her father’s death secrets come to light and a stranger helps her find peace and safety.

This was my first book in the Wheel Mongers MC series, but after reading it I went back an bought the first three to read. I loved the characters and the story. Knuckles is a mystery and one that is not only smart and handsome, but also is hiding something. The trouble is that they are both keeping secrets, even if it is by omission.

I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. The Wheel Mongers MC are a group of rough, protective, and dangerous people that will stand at your back and protect you as long as you show them the same courtesy. I loved the book and the characters.

Bear by Lane Hart

Barrett “Bear” Fulton thought the young woman sitting on the beach was beautiful but when he tried to talk with her she was too shy and too convinced that she would never be enough for anyone that she barely spoke to him. When her older, prettier, sexier, and more talkative sister came over and introduced herself, Barrett was smitten. Too bad he didn’t push Lyla a bit harder to talk to him.

Needing closure from a failed marriage at a young age after deployment, Barrett has joined the Savage Kings MC – Virginia chapter. It’s been several years since he’s been with a woman, but his heart and head just can’t seem to heal from the heartache he has from the woman that broke him. When he decides to get the closure he’s so sure he needs, he finds himself rescuing a young woman in the dark at the reception of his ex-wife’s wedding.

I loved this book. I love Bear and the Savage King MC characters. I have been a big fan of Lane Hard and D. B. West for quite some time now and picking up this book was a great idea. I look forward to reading more of the Savage Kings MC – Virginia Chapter books in the near future.

The Vow by Maggie Cole

She’s trying to forget him, but her mind won’t let her. Blakely is trying to move on and live her new life, but she can’t seem to get Riggs out of her mind and move on.

She’ll fight with everything she has to stay away, but life won’t let her.

Blakely and Riggs are meant for each other, yes, he was dumb and wrong in his actions, but he truly loves Blakely. He just needs her to see that and understand that he messed up but he will not do anything that dumb again.

I loved the ending of this duet. It’s angsty and rough, but it was a great read. As I said in The Auction review, Maggie Cole knows how to write dark, dirty, deranged characters.

Incinerate by K.E. Osborn

He loved her when they were in high school, they were each other’s firsts, and then she disappeared one night and he searched all over for her, with no luck in finding her. When he’s finally ready to move on and start a relationship with Lani, his past finds it’s way back into his life. However, will everything stay as it currently is or will he find his way back to the girl he once loved?

Grit is a protector, an MC member, and a man that has found someone that he can move on with in Lani. When he finally finds the courage to make his first move and acknowledge the attraction between them, his father shows up with his past love, Maddie. However, his heart is no longer beating for her, but he believes he has to protect her and keep her safe by keeping her close when he finds out where she’s been for the past eight year.

I love the NOLA Defiance and Grit has become a favorite character throughout the series. He’s loyal, protective, and kind. His and Lani’s story is heart wrenching and a must read. The action packed pages were hard to stop reading and brought such heart ache for Lani, and anger towards Maddie. I loved every word I read and I still LOVE Grit, maybe more so now.

Cruise: Special Edition by Laramie Briscoe

Menace’s son has grown into a great young man that is protective, handsome, and following in his father’s foot steps.

Cruise is now a member of the Moonshine Task Force, just like his dad. He’s out grown the angry, young man that felt as though his world was so dark after one night at a party with his high school friends. Now he’s part of the same team that helped his dad raise him and mold him into the kind, brave, protective man he’s become. Proof when he over hears a young woman being threatened in the diner while meeting up with his best friend for dinner.

Ruby is on a date, but she’s not thrilled with the man she decided to go out with and when he makes some very uncomfortable and unwelcome comments, she just wants to get done with the date and go home, but when off handedly threatens her, she’s afraid that her night will become a nightmare. When a handsome stranger walks over and takes a seat at her table and pulls out a badge, she relaxes a bit and then her night brightens when she joins him and his friend for dinner.

I loved the coming of age of Cruise. He’s a wonderful young man that had to over come a lot of darkness from his high school days and grew into a wonderful, loving, kind, protector that loves his family with everything he has. I loved it and the additional chapter in the Special Edition was an added bonus to this great story.

Arthur by Nicola Jane

This is Meli’s story. A story that will have you crying and hoping for her to find that someone special that will put her first, and love her unconditionally.

Arthur is a business man and a ruthless gangster when needed. He keeps his streets clear of danger and trouble along side the Perished Riders MC. When he meets Meli, he finds the one person that can draw his heart out and show him that his life can be more.

Meli has had a rough life in the MC. She was taken advantage of as a young girl and now she believes that she’s not worthy of any man, good or bad. When she meets Arthur can’t help but fall for him but she’s afraid that she isn’t good enough for the business man or the ruthless man that keeps the streets clean. That doesn’t stop her heart from wanting him

I loved this book and love that Meli got her HEA. She’s a special young woman that deserves a man that will protect her and care for her as well as love her no matter what. She’s found that with Arthur.

Blood Lust: La Famiglia De Luca: Gabriel by Kristine Allen

Gabriel De Luca is not happy to escort his mother to the book signing she wants to go to, but he knows better than to deny his father or his mother this trip. He may be the head of the La Cosa Nostra now, but he still listens to his father and mother. It’s only a weekend away and he and his brothers will oblige their mother and keep her safe.

A chance meeting at the signing brings Gabriel and Alia together and their worlds will crash together again after one night of unadulterated bliss. They may believe that they’ll never see each other again, but the universe has other plans for them.

I loved this book and the characters. I am loving how these stories in the MMM World include the signing in Texas and in some cases the authors of the books going to the signing. The authors have created an awesome world for their readers to enjoy and get lost in, as well as find new authors to read and new book boyfriends to fight over.

Darragh’s Dilemma by Ciara St. James

His parents keep asking when he’ll settle down and give them grandchildren, and he doesn’t have an answer for them. All of the elders of the O’Sheeran family are anxious to be grandparents, but Darragh’s expected to lead the pack. He doesn’t believe he’ll ever find the perfect woman that will be strong enough to stand by him and be his partner in life, but when he unexpectedly meets Ashlynn Kincaid, his thoughts are changed.

Ashlynn Kincaid is at the end of her rope, she doesn’t know where to go now with her worries or complaints. The police won’t do anything and her little sister is still in danger, as well as her parents and herself, but she’s more worried about her younger sister. When she gets the idea to go to the O’Sheeran’s she doesn’t expect her world to be turned upside down by the man she meets with, but that’s exactly what happens.

Ciara St. James does a great job with her MC characters and stories, and now she’s branching off into Mafia. She’s done a great job with this too. I love the characters of the O’Sheeran’s Mafia and this first story was a great start. I believe Ciara can write any character she wants. All she has to do is write a bit of herself into the women and pair them with the right man that will only enhance their strength, sass, and passion.

Menace (Special Edition): A small town single-dad cop, meets teacher romance. by Laramie Briscoe

Ah, my favorite Moonshine Task Force character! I loved Menace and Rina’s story.

Menace is a single dad that is trying to do the best he can with raising a good young man and working with his team to take down the moonshiners in his county. He works hard and does a great job with his son, however, he does have some help from his team. They are a family, so they all help each other out and do what they can to make sure that their county, and town are safe from the danger of the moonshine and what it can bring to their town.

Rina is a teacher at the local high school and is fairly new to town. She’s a woman that will fight for her students and the school to make sure that they are getting the best education they can get and are safe, and fed.

Menace and Rina’s love story is a great read. I love the Jeep scene and I love these two. The new special chapter to the book was a great add and I loved it.

She’s the head of a secret group and has been setting up her final job for awhile now, taking down the one man that has destroyed so many lives, including the life of the man she loves, can she do it and still live to have the life they both want together?

I love the Street Kings books and Ruthless Heir was a great read. The characters are always wonderful and the storylines are always dark, deep and twisted.
