A great start to a new Series for Nyssa Kathryn. I can’t wait to read more of the Walker brothers.

Harper is running from her past and runs right into a mountain of a man that takes one look at her and knows that he has to protect her. The problem is that the Harper doesn’t trust easily and she doesn’t want hand outs. So, Cody works his magic by giving her a job and slowly working his way into her life so he can keep her safe and show her that she can live a good life with him in Misty Peak.

Cody and his family have lived in Misty Peak all his life and they’ve had a good life there. He’s now running the family bar. When the scared looking woman walks into his bar with a backpack on her back in the pouring down rain one night he takes a look and knows that she’s in danger. He just has to figure out where it’s coming from.

I loved the story and the characters. I’ve been a huge fan of Nyssa Kathryn’s since her Project Arma books and her series that branch off have been just as great to read. Her books have a single thread that branches out with each series and I love how you can catch a glimpse of other characters. I love her characters and her stories. I am very excited to read this new series and meet the Walker brothers.

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Quite a change from the Nashville Chapter of the RBMC. It’s one reason I love the RBMC books. Each chapter has their own story to tell, but they are a family when it comes down to it. No matter what city or state they live in, if a chapter needs back up or help with anything they can contact another chapter and get the help.

Knox, the president of the Knoxville Chapter of the RBMC is helping his community at a charity event when he mistakenly soaks a teacher with the water hose. Instead of her getting angry at him she gives him a chance to make up for his mistake, but circumstances make them have to wait.

Eliza is a single mom and teacher that is trying to raise her daughter on her own and keep them both safe. She knows there are huge differences between her and Knox, but as she begins to let him into her life she begins to see they may work. She cautious she has a little girl and a not so great ex, but she can see how they could fit if they work at it.

When danger rears its head, and Knox finds himself in trouble with the law, Eliza pulls back and puts her walls back up until Knox pleads his case that he is innocent. Eliza finds that she wants to help Knox find the truth, but more danger and surprises find them. 

A great start of a new chapter with great characters and many surprises in store. I can’t wait to read more of this chapter and these characters.

He’s finally working towards the life he wants until tragedy strikes at home and his whole life turns sideways. Left to deal with the fallout alone, Ethan finds a chosen family with the King’s of Fury MC and gets his life back on track. Then the one person he thought he could count on at one time turns his world sideways again.

A second chance with their ride or die, tragedy, secrets, steam, and a story full of great characters. I look forward to reading more in this series and by JL Quincy. Great start to a series and as an inaugural book. It has all the feels and important parts to a great MC story. I love the characters, and the story, and I’m excited to read more on this MC and the characters.

My 5 ⭐ Review:

Mr. Big was his grandfather, but everyone still calls him that too. Tullio Bigatti runs Vegas along with is cousin. His family history is quite a story, going back to his grandparents. When a woman shows up in his casino and steals from him, he’s ready to make her pay for her crime, but when hears her name, he’s more intrigued than ready to hurt her.

Leonora Kallistos is just trying to make it in life and keep her younger brothers on the right path. When she discovers that the older one is hurt and how it happened, she’s ready to take matters into her own hands to retaliate for the pain and suffering. She’s not prepared, however, to go against the man that she believes to be the culprit of it. When he tells her that she has to pay for her crime and how, she’s scared.

I loved this story and I can’t wait to read more in the Mobsters of Vegas series to come. Bella Di Corte is a great storyteller and her mafia books are full of danger, darkness, and don’t touch her or die vibes. I’ve loved everyone that I’ve read and can’t wait to read more.

This was everything I was hoping for and more! Fisher and Eliza are the perfect match! Their story was the one I was waiting to read and it did not disappoint.

Fisher had a rather rough childhood and he’s convinced that he’s not good enough for Eliza. His childhood may have shaped him into who he is now, but it does not define him. He’s a good man and a great friend. He just needs to come to terms with that.

Eliza is connected, but when danger finds her the only people she can count on to protect her and save her are her men in the Black Knights Inc. It doesn’t matter who her father is, she knows she can count on these men to keep her safe.

I loved this story and I am so anxious to read more. The plot of these books has kept me hooked and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. They’re great! I loved the original Black Knights Inc. books and this series – Reloaded has lived up to the originals. I can’t wait to read more.

Shane is in need of a wife to help him care for his daughter that was dropped on his doorstep. A police officer that is in need of someone to care for his daughter while he works. His desperation causes him to reach out to an agency that matches couples to marry. Both parties are aware of what each is looking for and who knows, maybe it will work out to a love match in the end?

Courtney is looking for a way to get out of the apartment she’s living in. It’s not a good area and the neighbors aren’t the greatest. Her close friend tells her to reach out to Wife for Hire Agency, and she finally does. When she gets her match her life starts to look up.

This was a quick read, but a clean and enjoyable read. While this was a deviation from her normal stories, I loved it and she hit it out of the park!

A great Second chance at love with The One!

My 5⭐ Review:

Maverick has done the best he can for his little sister, Clover. He’s joined Defiance so he could give her a better life and a family, when they find their older sister in Defiance, their family unit is coming back together and Maverick sees that he has more support now to help Clover succeed in life. However, even though they are doing their best, Clover is failing classes in high school and needs extra help. The woman that is suggested to tutor Clover is a thorn in Maverick’s side, but Sadie has her own issues too.

Sadie has preconceived notions of the MC and she’s not easily persuaded or inclined to think that the MC is a help for Clover. She does her best to keep herself safe and away from the MC life, but the draw to Maverick is too strong. She may be a thorn in his side, but he’s the same for her. When these two finally figure things out, it could be their downfall.

I loved this story of Maverick and Sadie. As with all of the Defiance MC books, I love the characters and the story lines. The stories draw you in and hold you prisoner until the very end, they also keep the suspense of what’s going on in the background at the front of your mind. I love the Defiance MC books and I can’t wait to get my hands on more. Great story!

“I’m gonna sit here so you can sleep knowing not a fucking thing in this world is going to get past me,” I told her honestly, clutching my nine millimeter tightly in my grasp. “Now close your eyes.”

It was so hard to sit there and not climb into the bed with her.

But despite knowing my self-control would not stand it, that wasn’t what this was about.

This was about making her feel safe. I’d deal with the rest of these feelings later since it was becoming pretty fucking obvious they weren’t going away any time soon.

But for now, I’d sit here.

I’d protect her from the danger outside this room and the shadows within if I had to.

Bishop is the president of the Exiled Eight MC, Detroit Chapter. His past isn’t pretty, but he’s made his way in the world and found a family of his choosing. He earned his position as President through the respect and leadership of the club brothers. He’s had his love and isn’t looking to replace Lucy.

Shay had a tragic childhood, but has pulled herself out of the darkness and made a good life for herself. Now she’s a nurse and living a good fulfilling life. However, when her past catches up with her future and she finds that she’s unable to stand by when someone needs help, her life is in danger, again.

I loved the characters as well as the story. An age gap story with characters that shouldn’t be together, but they just can’t fight the pull between them. When danger finds Shay the only person that can protect her will step up and make sure she is safe, however, they will have a battle of their own to fight

Dark, gritty, tragic and twisted. The conclusion to Tristan and Luna’s dark, twisted story.

The conclusion to this trilogy was great! The story drew me in and held on tight until the ending. It was twisted, dark and tragic throughout, but the ending was great. Tristan’s dark, twisted past haunts him and holds him prisoner until Luna shines a light on and shows him that life can be lived and not just move through the motions. She gives him a reason to live and look for the light.

Luna has uncovered many secrets, but she’s also kept her own from Logan. Now that all of the secrets have to light, she needs to find a way to move on and live her life, but can she find a place for Tristan to live it with her? Can they overcome the darkness and find a way to live their lives rather than move through life?

I loved this trilogy and the characters in the book.
