Second chances exist for a reason, but can Magnus and Maren overcome their past and put aside the hurt to make a life together? Magnus wants a second chance with Maren, but he wants answers too. Will Maren give him what he wants on both counts? They are both hurt by their past, but want to put aside the past and look to the future where they have the life they talked about.
Maren wanted to be close to Magnus even though she was the one that ended their relationship when they were younger. She knows she was young and didn’t know how to deal with her hurt and selfishness, but now she’s older and she’s never forgotten about Magnus. When she best friend is in trouble, Maren knows there’s only one person that she can turn to for help, but will he be able to put aside their past to help her now?
Magnus hasn’t been able to move on from Maren even though their relationship ended fifteen years ago. He will never commit to another woman ever. His heart still belongs to Maren even if he is angry at her and she broke him. When he walks into work and his sister seems to be upset, he isn’t prepared for what he’s going to find in the conference room. However, he is a professional and he still wants Maren, so maybe this will work out in his favor.
I enjoyed this story and I’ve loved the books in this series from the start. I love A.K. Evans’ characters and her books, they always take me on a wonderful ride while reading them, and each one is better than the last. I look forward to more of the Harper Security Ops books to come. I give this book a 5 – star review.

Twisted, suspenseful, page turning, Psychological Thriller that will keep you wondering, and on the edge of your seat.
This story was tragic, suspenseful, and twisted, but it was such a great read. One mistake, one fateful day, and lives are changed forever. Will Amy get the closure she is searching for? Will she get her revenge? Is there more going on than what seems to be going on? One family will lose so much while two others choose to live their lives as if no one else matters.
I love Psychological Thrillers and this story was a great addition to the books I’ve read. It had me wondering, guessing, and wanting to strangle two of the characters. It was twisted, and emotional. The characters were great, but had me wanting to yell at them for some of the stupid things they were doing. I loved every page I read and I would love to read more of Diane Jeffries, books in the future. This was my first book by her, but will definitely not be my last. Her story telling was twisted and great! I give this book a 5-star review.
5 ⭐️’s For Tracking Mayhem – Book 7 in The Mayhem Series by Sue Coletta @SueColetta1
I love reading Sue’s books. Not only do I get completely drawn into the story, but it is also educational, emotional, and mood lightening at times.
Shawnee Daniels, Mr. Mayhem, Poe, and Jacy Lee will come up against a large group that could be their down fall, but with determination, faith in their reason behind this fight and the love and respect for the earth, animals, and their destiny will keep them focused and fighting.
This story brought many emotions out while reading, anger, sadness, fear, and the lightness that always eases the rough spots when needed that Sue includes in her stories. Shawnee is still as sassy, strong, and kind as always.
I always find that I learn something new when reading the books in the Mayhem Series and Tracking Mayhem was no different. I had no idea about the fur of a polar bear and I found that very interesting. I loved this story and I can’t wait to read the book in the series, they keep getting more intense as they go along, and I’m looking forward to more. I give this book a 5-star review.

Saverio Macchiavello has known most of his life who he would marry, and it wasn’t due to an arranged marriage, it was how his heart latched onto the Fausti Princess. He was determined to make her his and marry her, he just had to keep working on her to get her to agree. When her life is threatened he will put his life on the line to protect her and keep her safe, no matter the obstacles in his way. The Machiavellian Prince will will his Princess.
She is afraid that history is repeating itself, and she does not want to put the only man she loves in the same position her father was put in years ago. However, she may not have a choice in the matter. When she has to make the choice, her grandfather may step in and make it for her, because she wants to follow her heart, but her head is telling her not to. When it becomes too dangerous for her to continue her life the way she wants, Saverio will stand beside her and fight for what he wants. It may be a battle for the ages.
I was so happy to return to this world! I love the characters and the stories that have been told by Bella Di Corte in this original series and to have the second generation come to life now is beyond wonderful. I love the characters! I loved this story of Saverio and Mia, they are so deeply in love, but she’s fighting him every step of the way because she wants to protect him. She’s a true crime family princess and Saverio will not be deterred. This was a great start to the Next Generation of the families and I can’t wait to read more.

Ivy Jenkins is just living her life and doing her job, when she walks right into trouble. Not able to escape her captors, she finds herself needing to be rescued, but has no hope that she will be. When she is pulled from the tin that is holding her in place, she’s afraid that her captors have come back to finish the job. However, she’s being rescued by a sexy biker that hears her banging and pulls her to safety.
Steele Mattson is the President of the Shadowridge Guardians MC, and he’s on his way home from the local hang out when he hears a banging noise in the parking lot. After looking for what is making the noise and thinking he’s going to find an animal thrown away like garbage, he is surprised when he finds a young woman, bound, and in a gunny sack. Calming the young woman down, he calls for help from his brothers and an ambulance.
Ivy has a lot to work through after her abduction and she isn’t safe yet, the men that took her are still out there, so Steele and his MC brothers are protecting her and will find the threat. After all, Ivy is Steele’s Little Girl now. The danger is closer than Ivy thought and Steele will have to rescue her again before it’s all over.
I enjoyed this story. While I’m not really bid on this type of story, it was a good story and well written. The MC genre is what drew me in and I was intrigued by the Daddy romance surrounding an MC. The characters were great and I will read the remaining books in this series because the characters drew me in and I want to find out more about the characters and their lives. I give this book a 3.5-star review.

“I’m not telling you shit. You’d be merciless.”
“Fine, I’ll get Declan to tell me.” Her confidence makes me want to smile.
“How? He wouldn’t betray me for anything.”
“Look at this face.” She points towards her nose as if I haven’t been staring at her this whole time. “You don’t think my adorable little face couldn’t get him to squeal?”
I narrow my eyes at her. “You wouldn’t.”
“Watch me.” She takes off running toward the warehouse. Surprise causes me to falter, then I’m running after her, my legs eating up the distance in no time. She looks over her shoulder, her eyes lighting up when she finds me chasing her.
I get two steps away from her when I reach out to grab her around the middle. She squeals, her laughter ringing out as she wiggles to get out of my hold.
“Oh, no you don’t,” I huff out with a laugh. I go to lift her over my shoulder, but she’s too squirrelly. She relaxes her body, her weight dropping straight to the ground. I lose my footing with the sudden change, heading toward the ground like a fallen oak tree.
Twisting at the last second, I land on my shoulder, then roll over to my back, pulling Thia with me to keep her from hitting the ground.
Her eyes are wide, sparkling with humor and surprise. “I thought you were supposed to be some badass Marine, and you just got taken down by a girl with no training.”
My mouth pops open in surprise. “You little shit.” Before I can think, I flip us over, one hand on the back of her head, the other digging into her sides as she squeals.
“Okay, okay, okay! I give!” She squirms under me, trying to get away from my tickling fingers, all while giggling like a little girl.
I stop, holding my fingers at her side. “Take it back.” The mischievous light in her eyes makes me want to kiss her.
“Fine,” she pants. “You’re the most badass Marine who ever lived, even though you fell while chasing me.” She grins.
I throw my head back, laughing. “I hate that I can’t even be mad at you for that last quip because it’s true.”
Thia’s hand moves from my shoulder and down my arm. It’s then I’m fully aware of our position, of every part of me that’s touching her. I catch her gaze, her own realization happening at the same time as mine. The heat in her eyes sends my body careening off the edge.
I tighten the fingers speared through her hair as her hands move across my chest. It’s like fire racing through me. It’s as if she’s branding me with her touch so I’ll never be able to feel anything like it again.
A throat clearing behind me has my head whipping up. Connor looks at us with his eyebrows raised. “If you want to finish up whatever this is, I think I’ve figured out how to make the tracker work.”
