It’s been a wile since I read the original Black Knights Inc, books, but I loved them and the characters. Now we have new characters but with the OG Black Knights are still around too. I loved Back in Black (Black Knights Inc: Reloaded). It brought me back to the suspense, danger, and lethal operatives that were specially chosen by the President to protect and serve on a level that our military is unable to do. The Black Knights Inc operatives are some of the best Special Operatives that served our country and now they’re serving it in a different way.

I loved Hunter and Grace’s story. They met three years ago on a mission and neither one forgot about the other. Grace was just going through a tough time in her life and Hunter was just starting his new career. Fast forward three years and Grace is in trouble and the only person she can think of to call is Hunter Jackson. Now he’s on his way to rescue her and they will stand together to fight the danger that is hunting Grace. They’ll also need to deal with the fall out of this situation and their insecurities that they both carry.

I loved Back in Black and I am very excited to be reading the Black Knights Inc: Reloaded series and I can’t wait for the next books to come. Julie Ann Walker has a great talent for writing strong, independent women that are able to stand on their own, but welcome the support of a strong, lethal man to stand beside them.

I absolutely loved this story. While I’ve loved all of the Defiance stories I’ve read, I think I have to say that Fixate was my favorite.

Maxxy is a woman that is tough, strong, independent, and has a past that will come back to destroy her present and future life. Being an employee of The NOLA Defiance also makes her a member of the family, so when her past comes back to destroy what she’s built for herself, The NOLA Defiance will have her back no matter what.

HooDoo has his own past and he keeps it pretty close to the vest, but when he is put in charge of helping Maxxy with the Plantation, they get to know each other better, and an attraction grows. Even though Maxxy drives HooDoo crazy, he can’t seem get her off his mind when they aren’t together. With an alliance on the line due to Maxxy’s past, can he save her and the alliance, or will he lose one or the other, or both?

Absolutely love Maxxy and her strength.

Maxie and Kit’s story was great! The Harper Security Ops men keep finding women that test their strength in patience, as well as their ability to not be and Alpha hole that demands that they obey their every request.

Maxie is a kind, quiet, woman that keeps to herself and enjoys being alone more than being out in public, but when her life is in danger, her entire world changes and her views on being alone all the time change as well. When Kit steps up and offers to help her, her mind starts to doubt all that she is seeing and she wonders if any of it is real.

Kit is ready for some down time and enjoying the fact that their lives at Harper Security Ops has been quiet and slow, but when he returns with his lunch one afternoon and finds a young woman in need of help, he’s all for stepping up and being the Knight in Shining Armor that she needs. Kit is entranced by Maxie and her quirkiness as well as her beauty and crafty knowledge.

I loved this book and can’t wait for more stories with the remaining guys that are single. I love the men of Harper Security Ops and the women that they find to protect for life.

Reaper and Natalie’s story is a great read. While Natalie is a stranger to Reaper’s world, she knows that he is the only person she can run to for help and protection, but what she finds beyond that is so much more. This story shows that chosen family is so much more than blood family. When we choose those we consider family it is easy, comfortable, and fulfilling. Natalie finds that with the Lotus MC after she gets settled in.

Reaper never expected to find a woman to make his old lady, or that he would fall in love or go beyond one night with a woman, but Natalie blind sided him and he can’t seem to let her out of his sight for long. When the MC finds itself in trouble with a cartel boss over their arrangement, Reaper has to take a long hard look at his brothers to figure out who he can trust and if he needs to clean house to start over. Being the previous president’s son, he knows that not everyone that was under his father’s rule is happy with his way to running the MC, but to put the entire MC in danger is beyond comprehension.

I really liked this book and I can’t wait for more to come in this series. There are a lot brothers that have stories to tell and I am waiting to read them.

I love Ava and Nazzareno’s story. It was more than I expected and a great story.

Nazzareno Fausti is the oldest son of the youngest Fausti brother, Lothario Fausti. Lothario has taken the lead of the family while Luca in is prison. This story tells of Lothario’s betrayal to his father and oldest brother as well as Ava and Nazzareno’s paths and how they crossed. Nazzareno is happy with his life of being a pilot, but the family has other plans for him. His life will take a complete turn after he lays eyes on Ava Gerardi, aka Pepper North.

Ava Gerardi is a woman possessed with the Fausti family. A reporter for Vice City Times, she is always looking for more about the Fausti family and ways that she can meet one member, if not the whole family. Her possessiveness, or obsession, whichever way you want to look at it, could be her downfall or the end of her life, but with other factors coming in, it could be the best thing to happen to her.

I loved the characters and the story. It was dark, deep, dangerous, and I loved that Luca was such a different person that had his own manipulations going on in the book. I can’t wait for more is this series or from Bella Di Corte in general. I love her books and her characters
