I loved this start to The Sacrifice Duet and can’t wait to delve into The Penitent. I love both Natasha Knight’s and A. Zavarelli’s writing and their books. They both delve into the dark and depraved worlds that not many write about, but they do it in a way that draws the reader into the story and holds them captive until the final page, even with a cliff hanger at the end. This only makes the reader crave the next book to finish the story. The same holds true for The Sacrifice Duet, The Tithing. I loved it!

Wow! Talk about unexpected Twist!

I love D.M. Earl’s books in her MC series, Devil’s Handmaidens MC and the Grimm Wolves MC. These books hold some of my favorite characters and I devour them when a new one comes out. When I saw that she was writing in Susan Stoker’s Operation Alpha world, I had to read Claire’s Guardian. I am so glad I did, as this book was just as action packed, page turning, and steamy as her MC books I’ve read.
I love her characters because they have such depth to them, Danny Moretti and Claire George are both very strong characters that show the depth and strength that Ms. Earl’s characters have. Danny Moretti is ex-military, and an animal lover. He’s now a fireman and works with his previous commanding officer when needed to find and take down those that harm others. When an arsonist shows up in their town, Danny and his fire and rescue team as well as his old commanding officer, along with is team of ex-military men and women will come together to find the arsonist. When it’s discovered that the arsonist is out to take down Danny and anyone he cares about, these men and women will stand behind him.
Claire is a widowed mother of twins and needed a new start so she moved near her sister and brother in-law to start over. She’s not looking for a romantic connection but when she sees Danny for the first time, she can’t deny that he’s sexy. When her sister started match making Claire has no control any longer. When she and her boys find themselves in harms way, Danny will go to any lengths to protect them since he now considers them his family.
I loved this book and I look forward to more books by D.M. Earl in any of her series.

The same great story lines and suspense but with a younger group of men and women doing the job that the BKI are hired to do. Same great twists and turns throughout the stories as well as the steam between the MMC and the FMC.
I love Hannah and her determination to clear her name as well as show Sam that she’s the woman for him. She feels that she has to compete with her sister and other women that are similar to her sister, but Sam is realizing that his type is not what he thought it was, now to convince Hannah of that. I love the suspense throughout this story as well as the action throughout. The characters are great and I can’t wait for more of this team. The search goes on for Bishop and his minions. Who else will Bishop put in his crosshairs that the BKI team will have to rescue next? I’m excited for more!

Vixen hasn’t had an easy life. Up until she was rescued and given a family, she was a woman that most would consider broken or damaged. However, the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, Thunder-Ghost, Montana Chapter gave her a home, a family, and a reason to get up every day and live.
When her past comes calling, all of her hard work and safety could be in jeopardy. When she brings her troubles to the table with her sisters, she’s reminded why she loves these women and her family of choice. However, when secrets are revealed, her whole life could come crumbling down. Bringing in the only man that destroyed her heart, may just break her beyond repair, but can he repair the damage he’s already caused and give her something to be happy about?
Vixen and Lucas need to be alert and ready for anything if they are going to finish what they started five years ago. I have loved the stories in the Road Trip Romance Series by A.K. Evans, and What Comes After did not disappoint. I had forgotten about Theo in the Harper Security Series until I opened this book and it was not what I was expecting at all. It so much more than I expected. I love the characters and the story in this book. Theo’s parents are awesome, Theo and Devyn are great characters and their story is heartbreaking and healing in this book. The fact their love lasted as long as it did is amazing, especially when they haven’t seen each other in years. A story of tragedy, love, and second chances, What Comes After is a great story and I give it a 4-star review.
