Loved this second chance with Huck and Josie.
He was so anxious to get on with his life and be done with school, but a challenge from his mom made a big impact on Huck’s final year of high school. His senior year became bearable and enjoyable, but he had to keep his feelings a secret so he could help Josie in her senior year of high school.
Josie just wanted to get out! She had a plan and when she turned eighteen she was going to put that plan in motion. She knew what she wanted to do with her life, but unfortunately, things don’t always go to plan.
When these two reconnect their worlds are both turned around. Huck’s world becomes better and his future looks brighter, but when he notices that Josie is still showing signs of her past, he’s determined to protect her and keep her safe. Will she let him?
I loved this story of a second chance for Huck and Josie. The men of Harper Security Ops are great. They put their lives on the line daily, and when it comes to anyone they care deeply for, they become more fierce and protective. I can’t wait to read more of this series. I will hate to see it end.
My Review:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5
Such a great story in this series, and an unpredictable twist. I loved every page of the story and the characters as always keep me so engrossed in the story. This story is full of the action, suspense and characters that I’ve grown to love in Nikki’s books. So much is revealed in this story.
I love Nikki Landis and her stories. I haven’t read a book of hers yet that I didn’t love. She knows how to pull the reader in and keep them there until the very end and leave them wanting so much more of the characters she shares with the world.
I can’t wait to read more of her books in the future and fall down the rabbit hole only to reappear for more of her stories. An awesome writer and person!

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5
Watcher is an interesting character. He’s lived a rough life and still does in the Brothers of Chaos. He’s a man that likes things a certain way and has yet to find a woman that can handle him or his ways. When he heads to a brother chapter on a run his future could change.
Jessica is wild, and doesn’t like to follow rules. Her father wants her to take over the family business, but her siblings aren’t happy. Her life isn’t as peachy as most would think. Money doesn’t make a full life or a happy life, and when Jessica meets the biker she discovers a way to live her life on her terms.
I enjoyed this story and want to read more of the Brothers of Chaos now. Watcher and Jessica are not an ordinary couple, but they work and I love them for it. I love the characters in this series and I look forward to reading more to come.

Cade and January have been through a lot. Cade’s young life was tragic and after fighting for so long to keep himself and his best friend and the love of his life, safe, he finds himself alone and fighting for so much more.
A second chance at the life they were fighting for has presented itself, but will they both be able to put aside the hurt, tragedy, and pain that they’ve lived with for so long now? I loved this story and the characters were great! January and Cade’s story is tragic, but also redeeming. It may take a bit for them to find their way back into each others arms, but once they do there’s no one that can stand in their way.
This was my first read of Nichole Rose/Nichole Fallon, but I am looking forward to the next book in this series “Kill For You”. As well as looking forward to reading more of her books in general.

D.M. Earl is a U.S.A. Today Bestselling Author who spins stories about real life situations with characters that are authentic, genuine, and sincere. Each of her stories allow the characters to come to life with each turn of the page while they try to find their HEA through much drama and angst. D.M. finds ideas for her next story from within those around her and what she experiences in daily life. Each book has a part of her left behind in it. She lives in Northwest Indiana married to her best friend who was instrumental in the start of her writing career in 2014. When not writing D.M. loves to read, play with her seven fur-babies (yeah crazy) and ride her Harley Dyna Lowrider. My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5
What can I say? I’m a sucker for strong, independent, sassy women and D. M. Earl has created the perfect chapter with her Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber Ghost stories. While all of the books so far have had such tragic story lines, I think this one hit me the hardest. The fact that Wildcat had to fight so hard to come back from the tragedy that she faced, and not only find her HEA, but work so hard to find her path again, was heartbreaking.
I loved this story and the characters were wonderful, I love the Devil’s Handmaidens of Timber Ghost, but I also love the love the various groups of characters that work with them and help them to fight the good fight and come out on top. These women have fought for themselves and now they’re fighting for those that need their help, but they have help too and that help has created a wonderful community.
I can’t wait to read more in this series and I’m looking forward to the next book. Love these ladies and their men!

The Air I Breathe is a steamy sports/pop star romance standalone.

A low angst, sweet read. I enjoyed the story of Willa and Blake and how their story started and ended. It wasn’t a completely easy read, there are some emotional scars to read about, but overall it was a good read.
Willa and Blake start their relationship with honesty and openness and it makes a huge difference in both their lives. They know what they want and have matured enough to realize what they need to do to make it happen. They’ve both had some hard times, but the best is in front of them and they’re willing to work for it and take the leap.
I enjoyed the story and loved the characters. Great take on a very public relationship in real life.

I’ve got more baggage than a flight from New York to L.A.
I’ve seen it all and done it all.
I’ve killed and almost been killed.
I’ve left women, and women have left me.
One thing I’ve never done,
Let a woman know my pain.
Let her know why I can’t sleep at night.
Allow a woman to make me happy?
Is it time?
Jessica thinks so.
But does her well-to-do sports family?
Jessica “Wheels” Stallone
Daddy keeps telling me I’m next in line to take over the family business.
My two brothers are far from pleased.
But they know there are rules I have to follow.
I don’t like rules, so they know I won’t.
I don’t like to be told what to do.
I am me and want nobody to change that.
Nobody but the Watcher.
Daddy won’t like him.
My stepmother will try and take him.
Is he more important than a billion-dollar family business?

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5
Prince Charming in leather and riding a motorcycle. Adalee’s job is not her dream job, but she’s determined to do it and do a good job. Her determination is at times seen as annoying.
Fade has no interest in making it easy on Adalee to get an interview. The Iron Fiends are fighting for their lives and they can’t share what they know. The danger is real and it’s unpredictable.
Another enjoyable story in this series with great characters and a few interesting surprises. Now I’m anxious for the book in the series.
