Boomer is fighting daily battles with his own head. He left Las Vegas to find his place in the world and when he landed in Atlantic City and found that the Ruthless Kings MC Atlantic City chapter was a black stain on the Ruthless Kings MC’s he did something about it. He cleaned up the trash and is now trying to fix what was broken in Atlantic City. Their numbers are climbing, and the club is growing, but there is still a lot of work to do. They still have to get the city to see them as an asset instead of the trouble that was lurking before. They started out with a mismatch of guys that were the outcasts from the original Atlantic City Ruthless Kings MC with Boomer rescuing them along with the women that were found in the basement. Now they’re a club that is trying to show the city that they are a better club than the old one and they are there to help and protect the city, in any way they can. I love his love, adoration and devotion to Scarlett Rose and the strength she gives him to continue to fight his demons.

I so love the Ruthless Kings MC books, and the addition of the Atlantic City chapter makes it so that there are more stories to come. The connection between Boomer and Scarlet is strong, beautiful and healing for both of them. Boomer has a lot of baggage, but Scarlet sees the man beneath the baggage and makes him a better man. The men of the of the Ruthless Kings MC are dangerous, loyal and entertaining. While there is a seriousness to them, there is still the family connection these men have and their ability to drive Boomer crazy just like the men of the Las Vegas chapter does to Reaper. The Atlantic City chapter has a battle ahead of them to show the city that they are they to help, but when a snowstorm hits Atlantic City their chance arises to show the city they can help by opening their doors to anyone that needs a safe, warm place to go during the storm.

This book was a fun read, but it was also a tragic read. The characters are finding their own strengths and coming into their own. Boomer is showing the club that he may have issues, but he can be a strong leader and is a good man. All of the guys look to Boomer for help, strength and guidance and are showing him that he is needed and worthy. I love this story and the battles that are fought in this story are tragic, but they show such a strength amongst the club that I can’t help but fall in love with the characters. I give this story a 5-star review and so look forward to more books by K. L. Savage. They write books that can destroy the heart, but they always bring me back with the love of the characters.

I glance around the rink and notice that people aren’t paying us much attention now. They are having their own fun. A few glares here and there, but nothing too terrible. I expected guns, maybe even a little blood to stain this white snow, but I guess I need to rethink my ‘worst scenarios’ since this is a family function. 
“You are a freaking sloth, Boom,” Scarlett says, making fun of me. 
“Hey, I’m just careful.” 
“You look like a newborn baby deer trying to find its legs.” 
“That’s mean.” 
“Those are the facts, babe.” She clicks her tongue and does the cruelest thing she has ever done to me. 
She lets go of my hands. 
“I’m going to do a few laps. I’m sure you’ll be around the same spot.” 
“Don’t you dare,” I hiss as she lifts her hand and finger waves a farewell to me. “You get back here. What do I do? I don’t know what to do!” I hold out my arms as my feet start to wobble. “Oh man, I’m going to eat fucking ice. I know it,” I say to myself. 
Horrible idea. I should have gone to the local casino, but no, I had to go somewhere festive where the locals like to hang and make my appearance. I’m so stupid. Who is going to take me seriously when I look like… what did she call me? A baby deer? 
Rude. I’m going to skin her ass later. 
“How you doing, Prez?” Teeth asks, crawling on his hands and knees next to me. 
“I’m hanging in there. You?” 
“Going to go get me a beer. This is a drinking sport,” he says. Teeth looks up at me over his shoulder. His cheeks are red and the red scarf around his neck drags along the ice. “Join me?” 
“If I can get there. Crawling is dangerous, Teeth. Someone could fly by and cut your fingers off with the blade on their skates.” 
His face turns white and he lifts a hand. “Help me up.” 
“No, you’ll bring me down.” 
“Help me up, Prez! I didn’t think of that.” 
“You got yourself down there, you can get yourself up,” I say, taking a step forward successfully without falling. 
His hand wraps around my left ankle, and I hold my breath. “Get off me.” 
“No. You’re going to help me, damn it!” 
“This was the worst idea ever.” 
“You’re just now thinking of that? No shit. None of us know how to skate except Pulse, who had to be a figure skater in his past life. Help me.” 
“No!” I try to shake him off, but that’s useless because it causes me to get unbalanced. “You’re a dead man, Teeth,” I say, right before gravity wins. My ass hits the ice so hard the pain vibrates up my spine. I groan in pain and stare up at the night sky. The stars are covered by thick fluffy grey plumes. The snow lands on my face and it feels like a soft tickle against my cheek. 
Teeth’s head is propped on my side as he laughs, and I can’t help but to laugh too. “We are so bad at this.” 
“Terrible. Let’s not ever do this again,” I say through broken breaths.

Author Bio:
I’m a stay-at-home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. Will Cortell is a high school history teacher, he’s one of seven brothers and when he finds the one, he has no idea how to go about getting her on board with his plans. All of the Cortell brothers so far have had to fight for their women in one way or another, but Will’s fight is the hardest so far, in my opinion. He has to fight the history of his woman and he has no idea how to get her to overcome her mindset and open up.

Charlie, short for Charlotte has a past that has colored her opinion of relationships and it is really a tough fight to get her change her mind and see what could be right in front of her. When she first meets Will she’s is instantly attracted to him but she’s not up for a relationship. Her past could hurt her and anyone that is interested in her unless she can fight the mindset she has.

Wow!! I’ve loved the Cortell Brothers since the first book and they all have been pretty steamy, but Will and Charlie’s story is my favorite so far. These two are very steamy together and they have to fight so much to get through Charlie’s past to have any hope of moving forward in their lives. I laughed and cried with this story, but it was an awesome read! I laughed so much reading about Will’s history class, chapter 5, and Will’s interactions with his brothers and their opinion of his “relationship”. These boys are hilarious, and Joe really needs to get his soon. He’s such an instigator. I love that the town cares so much about these boys and I really hope that Josh and Carly can find peace in Josh’s hometown. The brothers all together and their individual stories are some of my favorite books to read. I give this story 5-flaming star reviews and cannot wait until the next books comes out Priceless Ink. If you’re looking for a steamy relationship read with some crazy characters that will have you laughing so much that you’ll be crying, but also want that seriousness that comes when a small town is reeling and so involved in the lives of their community members, this is the book and series to read. Each book is awesome!

Tank is a nomad in the Jagged Outlaws MC. He was a full-time member but decided he needed to go nomad so that he had the time he needed to care for his momma. Tank is a man that you cannot judge by looks and outside appearances alone. He never thought he would settle down with one woman after everything he went through in his past.

Lena is a business owner that is trying to make a living and moved from her hometown of San Francisco to the small town of Santa Teresita, CA. She needed a fresh start on life, and she had always loved vacationing in Santa Teresita with her parents as a young girl. She’s too busy running her businesses to date or spend time with some guy.

There are choices in life, and we all have to make our own when the time comes. Those choices can be detrimental to ourselves or those we love, but they could also be the best thing to ever happen in life. Tank may be a nomad, but he still cares about his MC and the brothers in the club. The only problem is that he sees things heading downhill and the VP is making decisions that could end the club while also hurting others in the small town. Tank doesn’t want to see his club, or his town suffer, but he has to be sure that he has his back covered if he wants to change things and the choices he makes while doing so is dangerous. Lena has lost so much in her young life and has closed herself off, but Tank makes her feel safe and protected, too bad she doesn’t really know who he is. I loved this story and the characters. The books started off with a slow burn and built up to a story of lust, danger, betrayal and finding the strength to stand up for your beliefs and the support of your community. I give this story a 5-star review and would love to see some more of the characters in this story, like Maniac.

The trouble is that he has shut his heart off and doesn’t trust himself or anyone to give him a happily ever after.

Raen Cartier is in need of someone to save her and help her get away from the monster that has turned her life upside down and taken the only person that she had left from her. Her life is no longer her own and she needs saving. The only person that she believes can help her is Brett De Courcy. I give this story a 5-star review and would love to have more of Malakai and Alexander’s stories as well.
