DON’T MISS THE CHAOS…Chaos & Corruption by Janine Infante Bosco is here! @JanineBosco @ElleWoodsPR

Universal: https://geni.us/ChaosAndCorruption

BLURB:
There’s a dark world out there that most people don’t really think exists.
My grandfather died alone in a cage for it.
My father did time for another man’s crimes because of it.
And someday I, Victoria Bianci, am going to help reform the system that punishes men like them.
Which is why I’m transferring to Stonewall University to study prelaw.

At my new prestigious school, there’s much more than meets the eye.
A dark world unlike the one I already know.
And at the center of it all is The Scorpio Society.
As a mafia princess, wealth and power don’t intimidate me.
With just a little digging, two things become clear.
I’m getting far too close to someone’s dark secrets.
And too cozy for comfort with football star Alex Reggiano.

*Originally featured as a novella in The Elites anthology, Chaos & Corruption is now a full-length, standalone romance novel.*

My name is Rex Cain…but you can call me god.

I am the ruler of the Cain empire—a legacy built from the blood and bone of others.
Here in my kingdom, only the strongest survive, and only the wicked can thrive.

That’s why I took my father’s life before he had a chance to take mine. But my life doesn’t flow through my veins. It flows through hers, the girl he tried to take from me. The woman I’ve stained my hands in blood for.

My most prized possession.
My weakness.
My butterfly.

She thinks I’m her savior, and I’ll burn kingdoms to the ground to keep it that way.

While she waits for me on her knees, I’m a king who reigns without mercy. While she obeys my every command, I’m a dictator who starts wars. And while she breathes, I’m a man with something to lose.

My name is Rex Cain, and she is my Hope.

Author’s Note: Cruel God is a dark romance not intended for sensitive readers. If you’re looking for a romance with a hero who has redeemable qualities and a strong heroine who rises from the ashes, then this book is not for you. Cruel God is a standalone romance with a happily-ever-after ending for flawed and broken characters. But if you expect a HEA with declarations of love topped with unicorns and rainbows, then again…this book is not for you.

Review of Twisted Devil: Quentin Security Series Book .5 by Morgan James @EJBookPromos

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Great start to a new series. Suspense, danger, tragedy, and a sexy FBI Agent that finds himself smitten at first sight and is protective.

Jason is in need of coffee and walks into a local coffee shot to find a long line and a beautiful barista taking orders and making coffee. He’s instantly attracted to her and wants to find a way to get to know her, but his job makes it difficult because he’s always on a case.

Chloe is a beautiful college girl that works at the local coffee shop. She’s almost through her college courses and ready to move onto bigger and better things in her life. She’s looking for an internship after college, but when she finds herself a victim her whole life will be put on hold after being turned upside down.

I really liked this prequel to the Quentin Security Series by Morgan James. It pulled me in from the first page and was hard to put down until I finished it. Jason is a kind, gentle man that wants to protect Chloe and when his job becomes a burden and he gets an offer to move, his first thoughts are with Chloe, he wants to see where things can go with her and moving out of state is not convenient. The relationship between these two is sweet, Jason is a man that is willing to work for what he wants and the relationship he wants with Chloe is no different. I am looking forward to reading more of the Quentin Security Series and I give this book a 5-star review.

During the course of my career working for the FBI, I’ve learned that there’s no shortage of evil in the world. But occasionally we find something good, something worth fighting for. When a case takes me out of my way one morning, I spy Chloe behind the counter of a local coffee shop. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a sweet smile that lights up my dark world, I know she’s meant for me.

Suddenly, she’s gone without a trace, abducted from the parking lot after her shift. There are no clues. No eye witnesses. And each minute that passes narrows the window of opportunity to bring her back to me safely. The clock is ticking, and I don’t have a single second to lose…

(Warning: Includes depictions of abduction, attempted rape, and other situations that may be uncomfortable for some readers.)

Review of Stolen: Dante’s Vow by Natasha Knight @NatashaKnight13

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

Dante’s been looking for her for 5 years. He made a vow to find the little girl that was mistaken as his sister and taken when his family was taken from him in a brutal attack. Now that he’s tracked her down, he will do anything to keep her safe.

She was taken from her grandmother when she was very young. Now she’s older and conditioned to say that she is Elizabeth, but there are some that know the truth and are looking to rescue her.

Once they found out that Mara was alive they did everything in their power to find her. Now they have and Dante can’t seem to get it in his head that she is off limits. He wants her and he will have her as his. I loved this story about Dante and Mara. It is full of action, danger, darkness, and a man that knows he shouldn’t want the young girl, but can’t fight his own heart. Like other books by Natasha Knight, this book sucked me in from the first page and wouldn’t let go until the end. It was a great read. I give this book 5-stars and I look forward to more books by Natasha Knight. She knows how to write dark, dangerous characters that you can’t seem to forget.

Review of Ace Magnets (A Good Run of Bad Luck #3) by Giulia Lagomarsino @crzybookladyluv @EJBookPromos

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

These books should really be turned into a TV series or movie. The detail that Ms. Lagomarsino writes in her books is awesome and so visual. Ace Magnets is no different. I love the characters and the plot of these stories.

Corduroy finally gets his HEA. He’s attracted to the quirky, new woman in town, but he fights it for as long as he can. Jack, the sheriff, and the Cortell brothers have their part in this story as well, but Corduroy can mess up just fine on his own. He will be pushed outside of his comfort zone and will be pushed to fight for the woman he loves, but in the end, his life will be so much better.

Abby is a quirky, interesting young woman that lives her live not worried about what others think of her. She’s a tiny woman with a big personality that will knock Corduroy to his knees and take no prisoners in the process.

I loved it! Corduroy has always been the match maker, and now he’s on the receiving end of Jack and the Cortell’s working to make him realize his attraction to Abby. This was another great story that had me laughing, crying, and wanting to smack Corduroy and Abby to make them see what was right in front of them. The detail of writing makes you feel as though you can see what is happening and had me laughing out loud more than once, garnering me funny looks. I give this book a 5-star review and would give it triple that if possible. I am looking forward to the next book in the series and highly recommend this book as well as any books in the series, and the Cortell Brother series. The books are funny, page turning, and steamy.

Corduroy
Carter Roy, the man that attracts all the ladies, but never gets them. He’s sexy and charming, but hasn’t found the woman that can keep his attention.

Abby
I just moved to this town six months ago, but I’m already loving it! Granted, I get lost a lot and I tend to stick out like a sore thumb. And then there’s the deputy-sheriff. He’s hot, but fighting this attraction every step of the way. I just have to find a way to make him see me through my six cats, crazy outfits, and my propensity to get into car accidents.

“Who is she?” Jack asked, bringing me out of my inner-musings.

“Who?”

“The woman you’re going all googly-eyed over.”

I waved him off. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not googly-eyed over anyone.”

“Right, you just got this far off look in your eyes that I only see when you’re dating someone new.”

“Well, then you’re wrong, because I’m not dating anyone.”

“You don’t have to be to appear that way. So, it’s someone you’ve met, but you’re not with,” he nodded to himself as he started walking around the room. “And it can’t be someone you’ve already dated, so that knocks out half the town.”

I rolled my eyes at him. He placed his hand against his chin, scratching at his jaw as he thought.

“And it can’t be someone from out of town, at least, not that far out of town, because you hardly ever leave town.”

“This is ridiculous.”

“You were just at the hospital. It’s possible you met someone there.”

I held my breath, wondering if he would guess who it was.

“But you’re not the type to fall for a damsel in distress. You’ve always liked women that could watch after themselves. Like Anna,” he grinned.

He would definitely never guess Abby then. She was the opposite of Anna in every way.

“So, it’s got to be someone new to the area, someone that you’re interested in, but since you haven’t actually asked her out, there has to be something holding you back.”

He stopped his pacing, snapping his fingers at me. “That new chick.” He snapped his fingers as he tried to come up with a name. “Abigail. Yes, that woman you hugged in the middle of the street. That’s who it is, isn’t it?”

Crap, I was so screwed. “Why would you think it’s her?”

“Oh, come on! You were hugging a woman!”

“Yeah, because she was upset.”

“And you don’t like to comfort women. That’s not your MO at all.”

“Exactly,” I said, hoping he would disprove his own theory.

“And that’s what it is about her. She’s good looking, and despite the fact that you don’t like weak women, you like her.”

“She’s not weak,” I argued, giving myself away. I closed my eyes, shaking my head as he laughed.

“Holy shit. So, what is it about her?”

“Nothing. There’s absolutely nothing about her. It’s not her.”

“It’s gotta be the whole damsel thing. The question is, what makes her different?”

“I just said it’s not her.”

“Right, which means it is.”

He rushed over to his computer and started typing.

“What are you doing?”

“Checking her background.”

“Why?” I asked, rushing over to his side.

“Because I want to know more about her.” He pulled up her name in the system, laughing at what he found. I sighed, rubbing at my eyes. “So, not only is she a damsel in distress, but she’s a very chaotic damsel, and that’s what you like about her.”

“I never said I liked her!”

“I should have known it. The moment I saw the footage of you holding her in the street, I should have known you were going to fall for her. Of course, I’m surprised it took this long. But now that I think about it, whenever we go out—”

“The people always shout,” I interrupted, hoping to throw him off, but he kept going.

“—you’re always looking around, like you’re watching for someone.”

“Bullshit. You’re seeing what you want to see.”

“No, I’m finally paying attention. So, tell me about her.”

“There’s nothing to tell,” I argued. “I don’t know anything about her.”

“You must know something,” he laughed, “otherwise you wouldn’t be so wrapped up in her.”

I walked away from him, sitting down at my desk with a huff. “I’m not wrapped up in anyone. I don’t like her. I don’t know her, and I definitely am not the man for her.”

“So you do know something about her. Because if you didn’t, you wouldn’t know if you were the right man for her or not,” he said, jabbing a finger in my direction.

“Fine, you want to know about her? She’s some kind of hippie. She has a living room filled with fluffy pillows, no furniture, and weird tea.”

He nodded, grinning at me the whole time. “Did you drink the tea?”

“Fuck off,” I said, storming out of the station, his laughter floating behind me.

I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven’t been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
