My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

The Preacher’s daughter and the biker. Two very different paths in life, but they find that they work. Especially after Bray shows Cece how to find herself and bring her real self to light.

Cece has moved back home after a divorce from the Mayor’s son from her hometown. Knowing that she will be exposing herself to ridicule by the church women, from her father’s church, and the towns people that has her ex-husband’s family on a pedestal. When the church has trouble fulfilling it’s promise of Christmas meals and gifts for so many in need, Cece finds that the most unexpected person can be a the ones to open your heart to.

I enjoyed this story and the characters are great! It has all of the holiday surprise, the perfect amount of suspense and the right amount of steam that I look for in a book like this. Cece’s determination for bringing out her true self is great and it shows her strength. I look forward to more stories from Avelyn Paige to come.
