βI know, and I shouldβve listened. Maybe then, the kids wouldnβt be scarred forever.β
βTheyβll be fine.β
βButβ¦β
βThey will be fine, and you will be, too.β
Emotion washed over me, and when Jameson noticed I was suddenly on the verge of tears, he said, βAlright, thatβs enough for tonight. You need to get some rest.β
βI hate all of this so much.β
βI do, too, but weβll get through it. Youβll see.β
Jameson leaned forward and pressed his lips to my forehead, letting them linger there for a moment. I closed my eyes and let his warmth engulf me. After a few seconds, I looked up at him and said, βYou know when youβre driving out on the interstate and itβs raining really hard. And you canβt see and itβs really loud, and then you go under a bridge and everything goes silent.β
βYeah?β
βYouβre my bridge. You always have been.β
βDamn, woman. You trying to gut me over here?β
βJust trying to tell you what you mean to me.β

My Review: βββββ 5 out of 5
A love lost because of life’s paths. A love found after years of being apart and living a life that was not what they wanted.
I loved Creed and Devin’s story. He wasn’t the type of man to settle and he knew that the woman that he loved and let go was the only one that would hold his heart. So when he saw her again and found out that she was single, he was ready to step up and make her his for the rest of their lives.
Devin found a way to move on after Creed let her go. However, she wasn’t living her life, she was making due with what she had in her life, until she was able to see that her life would be better on her own. That is until Creed stepped back into her life and convinced her otherwise.
I loved this story and as always the characters in the Satan’s Fury MC are wonderful. Creed and Devin were no different. He was willing to show her that he was the right man for her and she was ready to have him back in her life. Great story and I can’t wait until the next book in the series.
