I’m used to pulling broken women out of hellholes.
What I’m not used to… is one of them being the woman who broke me.
Five years ago, Cara vanished without a trace. No goodbye. No explanation. Just gone.
I buried her memory and focused on my club—the Saints Outlaws—and our mission to take down the trafficking rings infecting Chicago.
But during a brutal raid, I find her again.
Beaten. Traumatized. Clinging to me like I’m the only thing keeping her alive.
She says she didn’t leave me.
She says she was taken.
Now I’m torn between everything I feel for her… and everything I still don’t know.
She’s back, and I don’t know if I should push her away or pull her closer.
But one thing’s certain—this fight is bigger than both of us.
Because the warehouse we raided?
It was just the beginning.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐✨ 3.5 out of 5
While I really liked the characters, the plot and the story, I felt that there were some things there were mentioned at the beginning and then became lost throughout the remainder of the book. I enjoyed the story and it has great characters, but there were some turns that started out and then ended with the first part of the book. With that being said, I would like to read more of this chapter throughout the series.
I would like to see a little more of other the SOMC chapters included as well. This book seemed as though this chapter was completely on their own when there are other chapters that could have helped them. I do look forward to the next book though.
