Release Date: November 25, 2024

GraceβMy new boss is an arrogant, grumpy brute of a man. But I need this job and the room and board that comes with it.
His muscular, ink covered arms and roaring motorcycle scream bad boy. Usually, heβs the exact kind of man I foolishly go for, but I wonβt make that mistake again, no matter how much heat I see flare behind his eyes.
His one redeeming quality is the fact that his sharp edges melt away every time heβs with his girls. Maybe heβs not all bad.

Being the VP for the Evil Dead MCβs Gulf Coast chapter and a single-dad donβt exactly go hand-in-hand, but ever since my wife died, Iβve been trying βand failingβto fill her shoes.
My homeβs been a revolving door of nannies who canβt cut it in my world. So when this little ray of sunshine sashays through my door, I have my doubts. But Iβm desperate.
It turns out she may be more trouble than sheβs worth. Soon my place is teeming with glittering ornaments and enough Christmas lights to blow the fuse box. Itβs getting on my last Bah-Humbug nerve. Not to mention I now have to fight the urge to run my hands over my scorching hot nannyβs body, bend her over the nearest piece of furniture and taste her on my lips.
When a secret sheβs been hiding comes to light, I realize sheβs brought danger straight to my doorstep. But theyβve come messing with the wrong guy. I protect those I love, and any scumbag who touches them is a deadman.

MY REVIEW: ββββ 4 out of 5
The grump and the nanny.
Grace is a woman that is kindhearted, and lives her life from day to day and paycheck to paycheck. She may need the money, but when she sees someone in need, she’s there to help, even if she does something that makes her lose her job.
Lucky has two little girls and he needs a nanny, but he’s either scared them off or didn’t find others appropriate to help him with his girls. The Holidays are not the best time of year for Lucky, but when he hires Grace and she transforms his home and brings a smile to his daughters’ faces, he can’t deny that she may be the right woman to help him raise his daughters.
This was a tragic story with a very happy ending, of two people finding each other when they both really needed the other. Grace finds a family and Lucky is brought back to the living with his daughters and family. I loved it and I look forward to more of Nicole James’ MC stories in my future.
