Restore the Night: A Destroyers MC Romance Novel

Restore the Night: A Destroyers MC Romance Novel by Calia Wilde
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Geeky, sexy, treasurer of the Destroyers MC is always on edge. He has trust issues, self esteem issues, and a bit of imposter issues. His childhood was beyond messed up and he lives his life on his terms now, but when the sexy waitress steps in his path, his world will be tilted on it’s axis and stay that way for longer than he expects it to.

The tiny waitress isn’t showing any fear in the face of these bikers. Yes, she knows they could break her in half, but she’s never been one to step aside when she believes someone is in danger. Her family taught her to be strong and live life to it’s fullest. She has a plan of where she wants to go in life and she’s sticking to it. When she begins to doubt that plan, she’ll get plenty of advice from her best friends.

I enjoyed this story, while it touched on some very sensitive and and twisted issues, and covered some not so great news from real life, it was done tactfully, and not drawn out or explicitly. It was subtle and brought your attention to the issue, but wasn’t brutally done. This was my first read of Calia Wilde, but it won’t be my last. I enjoyed the book and while I didn’t start at the beginning of the series, I was able to easily follow the characters and the storyline in this book.
