I love this chapter of the RBMC series. The characters are fun to read, dark, dangerous and yet, they have hearts that are so soft for those that can capture it. Mammoth and Rowen are a great couple and add in Jacob and it’s a great family. I was very excited for Mammoth’s story and it sure didn’t disappoint!

Rowen is determined to get her and Jacob away from the danger that has found them. When Jacob tells her that they are headed to Tonopah, she doesn’t question him, she just heads there with the help of the GPS.

When Mammoth first lays eyes on Rowen, he feels that instant pull and connectedness to her and then when he sees and talks to Jacob, he knows that they are both meant to be his. Even his Reaper feels the instant connection.

I love Rowen and Jacob is an awesome kid. I loved this story and the characters as always from the Tonopah chapter. This story was a bit different with the addition of Jacob, but it was great and I can’t wait to read more of this chapter to come. I’ll pick up any book by Nikki Landis anyways because she is one of my go to one-click authors. Her stories draw you in and hold on tight for the entire story.
