WOW! I could read this book all day long and not get enough of Rafael DeMarco! This is one hot book and Rafe is one hot, brooding, sexy man. His instincts take a back seat when he meets Diana though. Not by choice, but because he can’t see past the attraction that draws him to her and makes him want to protect her.

A man who retired from being a spy and enforcer wants to have a normal life. He works for his brother in-law in Blake Securities, putting his training from the FBI and ORUS to work in a private sector. However, one of his cases from that period has come back to haunt him, and he isn’t aware of how bad that can be yet.

Diana Vandergraff is a woman who has lived for revenge since the night her father was killed while she was in the house. She is close to getting that revenge, but once she meets Rafael and gets to know him she finds that revenge is not as sweet as she thought it would be. She finds that her life may not be what she thought it was either.

This is the first story I have read of the Blake Security men, but I will go back and read the Shameless Trilogy and the Force Duet, because damn, these guys are awesome! I look forward to reading more of Rafael and Diana’s story too.
