I’m inching up on the BIG 4-0. The gray hairs are doubling what seems like daily, and the wrinkles and laugh lines are more pronounced than ever.
I have an amazing husband (Married just over 15 years.)
We have two boys we’re doing our best to raise as respectful gentleman.
I have a master’s degree in criminal justice which I used to work as a juvenile probation office until deciding to write full-time in June of 2019. So that means there’s usually always some criminal/law element to my novels.
If I’m not writing; I’m reading.
My favorite genres recently are bully/reverse harem and enemies to lovers. Maybe I’m reliving my traumatic teen years through the girls who actually end up with the boys. (Not that I would change my history since it’s gotten me exactly where I need to be!)
I love coffee. I miss carbs. Music is LIFE. I try not to be too serious.
MY REVIEW: āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø 5 out of 5
Spade is a one and done, love em and leave me kind of guy. He wants no attachments and has avoided them for years. When he sees the beauty at the Care Home, he canāt help himself but flirt with her, but he doesnāt know why she is mad at him or shoots him down.
Sylvia Davis is a woman that is not into attachments, sheās lost a lot in her young life and does not want a permanent relationship or a man to have to answer to. The only man in her life is Big Daddy, her grandfather that raised her. When she has to return to the hometown she left years ago to settle her grandfatherās property, she finds more than sheās looking for. Being a close friend to a Cerberus woman, Sylvia has an escort that she is not pleased to have.
Spade and Sylvia had an encounter months ago, but only one of them remembers it. When they are pushed together for Sylvia to return to her hometown, Spade is still a bit confused as to why she is mad at him, when the night they shared comes back to him, his feelings change. Sylvie is determined to keep her distance from Spade because sheās had enough pain in her life and she doesnāt need a broken heart on top of it. This story has tragedy, cautious H and h, great characters and a secret that threatens to break Sylvie further. I love the story and the characters are always great in the Cerberus MC books. This book was no different. It was an emotional read, but it was great. I give this book a 5-star review and canāt wait for Aroās book. I love the Cerberus MC books.
