MY REVIEW: βοΈβοΈβοΈβ¨ 3.5 out of 5
Rider is a member of the Mystic Venom MC and owns a garage in town. On his way home from the club house one night, he stops for gas and sees a young woman walking down the street. He doesnβt know her, but he doesnβt feel comfortable letting her walk on her own so late at night.
Rayleighn is on her own with a little boy to raise. She is barely making ends meet with her job and raising a two-year-old. Sheβs very independent though and wonβt take handouts. When she notices that thereβs a man on a motorcycle following her, she begins to get worried. She doesnβt want him to follow her home, but he tells her he will wait at the corner until sheβs home safe and inside.
I enjoyed this story and I like the characters, however, there were some unanswered parts of this story. One was that Rider is part of an MC, we donβt know if itβs a 1% MC or what, but he talks about being a well-respected member of the MC and an officer, but no mention of his position. He talks about Griz, the enforcer and how Rider avoids knowing the ins and outs of Grizβs dealings for the MC. I liked the characters and the story, but I wish there was a bit more information on the MC and Riderβs position in the MC. This was Sadie Roseβs first MC story and I look forward to seeing where this MC goes along with her. I would like to see the characters a little more developed though. I look forward to more of the Mystic Venom MC and meeting more of the MC and hopefully get a full view of the MC. I give this story a 3.5-star review.
