The story begins with Dean at rock bottom, on the verge of giving up after having lost his marriage and about to be thrown out of his club. His personal life is a wreck, but then Dean meets a unique woman named Vanna, who is unbeknownst to him, in hiding from her ex fiance cop currently doing time for nearly killing her years prior. They both have emotional scars and inner demons they’re dealing with, that effect their lives and especially their budding relationship.*

This is an in depth love story between two damaged characters that takes place in a small country town in a fictionalized region of the Carolina’s. If you’re looking for a book to breeze through, this isn’t it. Though every page is written for a reason and there are layers to each and every scene.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

This was a great book! The characters were fully developed and great! The story was detailed, angsty, brutal at times, full of sexy, possessive, and dangerous bikers, and I loved every bit of it. The narrators did a great job with the story. I listened to this story while driving and working over several days and I enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the second book to come out. There are so many things left open that I need answers for, that doesn’t mean the book ends on a cliffhanger, just left some unanswered and open situations. Great Book! I give this audio book 5-stars!! I need Viking’s story though!
