⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5
She and her best friend Tessie were inseparable, so when Tessie found herself pregnant and the father nowhere to be found, Cricket moved in with her and helped her raise Daisy. Cricket was prepared to share the responsibilities with Tessie for as long as she needed her to. However, an unfortunate tragedy strikes, and Cricket finds herself in a new situation and she’s ready to fight for what she believes is right.
He wanted out of the service, he’s spent enough time protecting and serving his country and he’s seen enough, but when his discharge papers don’t come through in time, he has to report for going back overseas. Dash is not happy about these new orders and decides to drown his sorrows at the local bar, where he meets a woman and agrees to go out to his truck with her. He has never felt good about how he treated the woman from the bar, but unfortunately, he can’t remember her name or how to reach her to make amends.
I liked this third story of Lone Star Rangers Series. These two will forced to work together to get what they both want and then a whole new side comes to light for both. The love and care that Dash shows Daisy is sweet and the way that he approaches her and introduces himself to her was great. He isn’t pushy and he shows care for her feelings, which I really liked. The fact that she is smitten with him is great. She’s a sassy little thing and I loved that. I love the characters in the Lone Star Rangers Series, and I hope there will be more to come. I give this story a 5-star review.
