I loved Scooter and Mia’s story. She may have been broken when he rescued her, but he put her back together and helped her heal and be the woman she’s meant to be.
Ryan “Scooter” is a caring, patient, kind man that becomes Mia’s hero when he rescues her. He will have to fight his own battles though when it comes to prioritizing his thoughts and keeping Mia in a box while he’s on missions or he may no longer be a part of Cerberus MC. This will be a battle but he can overcome it if he can get his mind straightened out and figure out where he and Mia stand with each other.
Mia doesn’t realize how strong she is when she leaves the hospital, but Ryan will show her and he will be her strength until she realizes it. After a few weeks in the Cerberus MC compound, she decides to go back home to Louisiana and conquer her demons. While she’s there, she finds her strength and her willpower to move on and live her life on her terms.
These two were meant to be together, but they both had to find their voices and communicate their feelings to each other. Once they were able to open up to each other and voice their concerns and their desires, they both blossomed and found that perfect union. Mia was able to overcome a lot and Scooter helped in so many ways, mostly just being there and making sure she knew that he wouldn’t let anything happen to her. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend this series along with this book to readers who love to read MC, military, or suspense books. This is not a typical MC, that’s for sure.
